Good Love

 What is good love I’m lost in this crazy world trying to figure this out..

 This is my poem of the week titled Good Love

As the seconds become minutes and minutes turn into days, I ask myself will all this pain I feel ever go away? Is it true that misery loves company or is it the company that we keep that brings us misery? Is happily ever after only on T.V. or is it a state of mind or something that will never be? Why as the days turn into months and the months turn into years, we live in fear of our loved one not being there. Isn’t it funny as the years roll and the numbers grow instead of loving our heart turns cold? Is it because we live in a crazy world that’s scared to commit? Or the the truth of the matter is that Good Love just doesn’t exist?

As I struggle to find out what good love is and what does it mean. I question myself is it possible to have good love in this world? As I listened to Anita sing these words, I could’nt help but long to know what good love feels like as well. I was to young to understand this song when it came out. Anita sung a timeless master piece that has purpose and meaning. What is good love and where do you find it. I’m still confused, does this even exist?
