Is Nick Mariah Man Whore?

I pride myself on not being a negative site but last night when I watch  Mariah preform I wonder why her husband had to walk her down the stairs. I mean I can understand taking care if your woman but in my eyes he looked like he was her man whore vs her husband. I mean I don’t understand it am I reading to much into this.
