Dear Dairy 10/9/07 Meeting Charles 4 the first time
I met Charles when I was twenty-four; I’d just gotten my Master degree in finance and took a job offer at one of the biggest accounting firm in San Francisco. Normally I wouldn’t have eyes for a light skinned brother but Charles was fine with a capitol F. I even think he turned me on more when he passed me up without looking my way. I’ve always loved a challenge it’s something about me competing for something that gets me going. It’s the sole reason I finished high school at sixteen because I wanted to beat out everybody else. Even though Charles passed me by I saw him look out the corners of his eyes. A woman like me is not easily missed. I played along with him, I liked paying games. As I kept it moving he turned around and asked me if I knew which way 5th street was.
I looked at him and smiled than replied “I’m new in town.” I could immediately tell he admired my Jill Scott smile. His eyes searched my five foot seven inch frame from top to bottom. After I felt he got a good enough look I turned and walked away. I always win, and I always get what I want!
“Excuse me Miss” he yelled trying to catch up with me. At that point I knew I had him where I wanted him, men rarely passed up a big but and a smile.
“Yes?”
“Well if you’re new in town if you don’t mind, I can show you around.”
Got ya I smirked. “Why not,” I smiled as I let him beam my contact information from my blackberry cell phone to his.
“I’ll call you later on; maybe I can take you out for steak.”
“Maybe” I replied as I turned and walked to my newly purchased ride. Men are so predictable I thought.
From the time my mother birthed me into this world I’ve always walked threw life with my head on straight. I was a determined child; I started walking at eight months, potty train by twelve months. I finished eight grade at twelve and graduate with a 4.0 GPA out of high school at sixteen. I’ve always went after the gold and won, it’s just my drive to want more in life I’m just a go getter. Stay tuned for more Kitty Kat Dairies every Tuesdays.
