Vivica Fox opens up about liking younger men and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that but a question popped into my head. Do men really want to wife a older woman?
I mean if she is 47 and your 28 what are the odds that you would make her your wife? Now I know that it does happen I mean look at Ashton and Demi Moore. So I know there are some guys who don’t mind having a older wife but on the real how many men ages form 24-35 want a older woman outside of money and sex? And please don’t think I being funny I’m just asking because it popped into my mind when I read the article. For the most part women mature faster than men and having a man that is 20 years younger than you can be a problem.

“Actress VIVICA A. FOX has set a strict age requirement on the young men she dates – because she doesn’t want to become a “sugarmama”.
The 47-year-old Kill Bill star admits she prefers dating younger men and flaunts her skills as an experienced seductress as host of new U.S. TV show The Cougar, in which she helps an older woman find love with a younger man.
But Fox admits her twenty-something suitors are required to be well-established in their professional lives before she agrees to a date – because she doesn’t want to be left with the check.
She says, “You have to realize when they’re 27 and younger, you go from being a ‘cougar’ to a ’sugarmama’ and that’s the number one rule: ‘We don’t do sugarmama’.”

ok auntie viv….i don’t see anything wrong with dating a younger man, except that i am still in my mid 20s and dating younger means dating basically an infant and that ain’t cool. Lawd what to do…..lol

Teehee right, it’s a catch 22 because we don’t want a 22 year old so I can’t understand why when you get older you want to put up with there crap…don’t know

yea i am dealing with a youngin right now, 2 years younger. He is doing pretty good for himself, but I want to have children soon with the RIGHT man of course, and I seriously doubt that is on his agenda anytime soon, so I feel like I should just not even entertain it, except I find him very ambitious and passionate the total opposite of what i am used to and it’s intriguing to me. I feel like I can learn something, but I don’t wanna fall if its pointless.

Well firstly assume means ass-out- of-me- no disrespect though lol
but you can’t say what a man is ready for until you sit down and talk with him. Our problems as women we always over think stuff and try to figure shyt out with out asking. One thing about us if a man tells us one thing we try to twist it to best suit us. If you have never had that talk with him than how would you know? don’t be scared to talk, I feel like in the beginning you should talk about everything and anything so you two can get to know each other. But don’t start assuming you know what’s on his mind are what goals he has set for himself.
Ask girlie just sit down and say where do you see your self in the next three years and go from there. That way you’re asking him about his goals period not that one thing. But what he wants out of life and there are younger men who have goals and mature, is his father around? It plays a part in the man he is. He might not want to be a old dad, but how would you know unless you ask him. So just ask him while you guys are chilling, where he sees himself in the next___years, and ask him what is his thoughts on kids and tell him you’re not ready now but before you get in to deep you want to know if you two are on the same page.
You might be passing up your husband because you are assuming the worse and I understand why. And I learn things from my ten year old son so no matter how old the person is you can learn something from them, no matter if it’s good are bad. and plus the age difference is a bonus sex wise at least he will be able to keep that back caving – teehee lol lmao I know my mind is dirty,,, lol

See this is why i like your page lol, u b looking out for your readers ya know. But I have talked to him about a few things, and i honestly feel he says some things to keep me around, like yea i want a really good woman I pray about this all the time, and i want a family eventually, blah blah blah, so he has told me, but at the same time when he talks about his career ambitions they DO NOT match his personal desires, so i am just like, nah, this ain’t gonna work. His dad is around and guess what? His parents were married, then his dad remarried another lady, bottomline his dad believes in marraige, and so does he lol. But all i can do is pray too, u never know.
We haven’t slept together, because once again its LD. He is supposed to come see family up here this summer, and i am supposed to go c my fam in his state this summer. So i hope to get my back twisted out VERY VERY soon lol. Dirty minds think alike lol

TeeHee babydoll lol and thanks I try to.. But a part of that is coming from your last relationship. I mean I see myself doing it to because of the bad relationship I just got out of. But just pray and like always God will reveal the truth. And yes men do say things to keep you around but most of the time there saying what they mean and we take it in as what we want to hear.

U know what it is? I have never been in this position before where i am ready to be a mother, so it is very strange for me to put it out there like, “yea I wanna have kids soon.” I don’t want it to sound desperate, i don’t want to scare youngin off, because it doesn’t neccessarily mean i want babies with him. He has no children by the way, and he might think i am trying to set him up lol….but i feel what ur saying, i can’t listen with my emotions, but i gotta listen with my head because girl i am tired of the bullshit… lol

@ baby doll girl you killing me calling him a youngin please don’t do that to his face lol and I with you Im tired of the bull shit to. and I can understand not wanting to scare him off. But girl let me be real with you having kids by a man is serious if i could start my life all over again I would have waited on a husband to be truthful. you need to learn a man ways his family, you need to know how he was rasied up even if he has a dad there. You need to see him around kids, know where there family medical history is like. It’s more than just meeting a guy and getting knocked up if you don’t see that man as your husband than don’t have kids by him. I don’t know how many times a day I tell myself I don’t know why I had kids by him. be careful and really have a talk with God and wait on a husband because it is a lifetime commit to have a child with someone. So I know you want one but wait on God..

oh girl i am waiting on God on this one too, thats why i don’t have any kids yet, and it really was never a big deal until recently i have been wanting to b a mom. But yea, i came this far with no babydaddy drama, my ass can wait…and thank you as always!!
