I wish that I was a filmmaker of some sort b/c I would put my personal spin on this. I consider myself a tired Black man, but I'm not tired of African-American women per se. I am tired of the bullshit (excuse my language) labels that women of ALL races put on me w/o even knowing me. For example, I must be gay b/c I've only had a few sexual partners in my lifetime or I must be a dog of some kind since I'm not presently with a particular woman. Let's not forget my all time favorite: "How many children do you have? I know you have them somewhere" (for the record I have none). I'm tired of being judged by members of the opposite gender who don't know me, and probably have no interest in knowing. I am a good man, and although I've been told this by multitudes I didn't need their confirmation to know that. The funny thing is that there are several men of my race & other races JUST LIKE ME. The difference with me is that I'm EXTREMELY selective. I don't go after just everything with a skirt, high heels, and a purse (that includes the dudes who dress like that.......lmao). I don't do hood rats (too ignorant), and for the most part (although I befriend many women with children) I usually don't date women with children ESPECIALLY if they have an abnormal baby father (that stems from my last relationship). I also tend to go for BRAINY women, and that's the nerd in me talking. lol Anyway enough of my life story. lol I like Mr. Tim Alexander's concept for this flick, but I would've rocked it differently. Excellent work though!

Tim, I look forward to talking with you, and I understand that.. And you know we women are built up differently then men when it comes to emotions. So that's why we take it like that -idk- I think they want what I want to be heard--to been seen as the good faithful wife that was broken down--that's where I'm coming from and wanted to a film from that angle we will talk.

Great! My goal was to create a dialogue by showing a side that no one had the nerve to touch. I am only talking about the angry women so if you are n not one - no harm to you.

If some one says "Black me are cheating liars and I am not one - why would I care? I would just say "Yeah, a lot of them are", because it's true - Most are. No defensiveness from me on the issue.

But a lot of women can not seem to do that and they want to instead tell me I have labeled all women - when I clearly have not and never will. Please hear those words I just spoke, and I will speak again - "Not all women", but some. And they are the ones I am talking about. I almost married some of them.

Visit my forum and join and you will see other men and women in a deep dialogue on the issues I have raised in the film.

Or you can call me at xxxxxxx and we can talk directly, and yes, I would work with you Nichelle.

Hi Tim,

I liked the movie, and maybe I will give it a second go round. However I wasn't dissing the movie I'm just looking at the fact that I wish it was other women portrayed. I get the angry black women thing---but it's a lot deeper than that. I want to ask brothers some questions and I want answers! Your film actually inspired me. I'm a film writer myself so it really pushed me to get off my but and get it done.

Much Success to you and hopefully we can work together in the future.

Hi Nichelle, this is Tim Alexander, the film' Writer/Producer/Director.
I think you need to watch it again my dear, clearly almost every man I interviewed went out of his way without me asking to say - "Some black women - not all". The women did not, they just said "Black men - no good - none of them" with no qualifiers or disclaimers what so ever!

Please, sit down and watch it again, but this time without the emotional reaction. And make sure to take the time to listen to the Director's Commentary.

Just listen to the words that were said. No. It is not all women, and it was never stated that way - you choose to take it that way.

I should, I made and edited the film.

Visit my forum and you will see 60,000 post to let you know what I am really trying to say.

Just go here: http://www.tiredblackman.com/forums/

And yes, I would love to see your filmed response.

Ooh I'd love to see your documentary when it's completed. However, true speak, you know there are some brothers that whenever you show them their bull and wrongdoing they're gonna retort with the "you're male-bashing" bull/ish among other ridiculous accusations. I really hate how some black men wanna blame all that ails the world and the black community on a black women and still want us to love, support and build them up...girl you've struck a nerve with this one let me go do some yoga or something..lol!
