Real Women Do Real Things

Let me speak to the fella’s for a minute, good times, hot sex, great head and dumb broad’s equals a major fail in your growth in life. Last night Kanye not only embarrassed himself but his late mother as well. Sometimes men and not all men (so if I’m not talking about you take no offense) think bad girls are more fun. They do whatever, whenever, however and it doesn’t matter because they have a free spirit. Whatever you want they submit, when you’re wrong they turn the other cheek and when you need help or fall down they’re nowhere to be found. Good time women are just that, good times!

A real woman will never let her mate fall short, she won’t stand by and watch there life wasted away.  I understand you cannot control person actions or what they will or won’t do. Grown folks are going to do what they want but as a mate you have to know when to let your spouse know when there wrong. Walking down a major red carpet with a bottle is not only unprofessional it’s also tacky. Personally I would have told Kanye that he would attend alone if he’s going to be drinking. A real woman knows that anytime you step out; you are representing yourself, your company, your sponsors and your upbringing.  In a relationship when your spouse falls, you fall, when they hurt-you hurt. When you’re together your one- you laugh together, cry together and supposedly ride together.

Sometimes a man’s woman is the closest thing he has to his heart, so when he’s mad he can sometimes take it out on you. When he’s happy or something good happens; he calls you before his mother, friends etc. When he needs something done, you’re the one he leans on; when something is going wrong you’re the only person he will open up to.  You basically become his partner and adviser. So when he’s wrong or needs to straighten up the only person who can tell him that is you. (Even though he might not want to hear it)

I had a male friend who needed my advice because he was torn in between two women. One of the girls he liked because she listened to him, and even when they fell out if he needed her she would put her anger to the side and be there for him. He said she didn’t want to have sex until they were committed and it was driving him away. He said she had goals and was going places in life and although he loved her his other chick he dipped with was down. He told me she did whatever he wanted and the sex was off the chain, he said if something popped off she was right there ready to fight with him. He said he didn’t like that she didn’t have goals and was loud when they went out.

I advised him that if you can have a deep connection with a woman and there is no sex in the mix than she’s a keeper.  Having a girl who does whatever you say is okay to a certain point. I can recall when he got into it because he has a hot temper and that girl told him to “slap dude” I told him to ignore that petty mess. I can’t recall where we were however it wasn’t that deep to slap anyone. I advise my friend that a real woman tries to show her man things beyond his hood. Beyond the life he lived before he met her. Having a woman who keeps you in the same space is not a benefit to your growth as a man. Just because your girl is down to fight with you doesn’t mean she’s a good woman. A real woman who you have a family with or trying to build one with–encourages you to be a bigger man. They don’t push or co-sign you to do things that can put you jail or lose your life.

Nonetheless he picked the wrong one and let his good girl get away and he regrets it, like I’m sure some days Kanye regrets losing Alexis. My point here is fun times and loose women are only good for a while. Once you’re no longer a good time there on to the next one. I think it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee beans because as Jigga Man stated “When a good girl gone bad, she gone forever”.

Get a real woman in your life, that’s a good look.
