Suge Knight’s financial troubles are continuing to flourish now that the government has confirmed that the co-founder and former Death Row Records executive is $6 million in debt due to unpaid taxes.
It was previously reported that a storage facility owner put personal items up for sale, including a picture of Tupac Shakur and Suge which sold for only $100 to go toward an unpaid bill.
Prior to this situation, one of the mothers of Suge’s children took him back to the courtroom for backed child support. At this time Death Row memorabilia was sold at an auction in 2009 to contribute to the outrageous bankruptcy bill.
Tax collectors are the next to come forth for Suge’suncollected dues. TMZ recently obtained legal documents showing that a lien, which was filed against him in 2003 for his 1996 tax return, was re-filed this January.
The government wants $6,578,696.31 from Suge Knight to cover unpaid taxes.
There’s been no commentary on his behalf of whether he will be able to pay that. This will mostly likely serve as a challenge to Suge, considering he makes a little over $1,000 a month.
Calls were made to Suge Knight and his associates, but were never returned.
