Eve and Swiss are great together in the studio and have made a lot of hits together, Swiss just spoke about the return of Eve.
As it was previously reportedRuff Ryders first lady Eve left Interscope earlier this year and is working on new material for her upcoming album Lip Lock. Ruff Ryders affiliated producer Swizz Beatz is all for working with Eveon her new album which she revealed earlier this year would follow a unique format as the sound is influenced by music in the UK.
“I’m always working with Eve. I’ve already worked on a bunch of tracks previous to her starting her upcoming album again. Right now, she’s vibing with other producers and things like that. What Imma do is we either keep the tracks that we did that didn’t come out, or if she feels like we need something different, we work on that as well.”
Swizz Beatz also is in the process of gathering the remaining members of Ruff Ryders to work on a collaborative album while hoping that he isn’t the only one passionate about the effort.
“Anybody from Ruff Ryders I’m willing to work with, it’s all family to me. I just don’t wanna be the only one that wants to get back together. I tried that already with the track Who’s Real, then the remix. I got everybody on it. It got some great momentum but you know people have different schedules. We’re different than when we first started. Before it was like all we could do was focus on this. I’m traveling all over the place, Eve is all over the place, The LOX are doing their thing, Drag-On got his independent thing that he’s trying to do. Like everybody has their own business people right now.”
Eve’s new album Lip Lock will be released this upcoming summer and will feature appearances from Robin Thicke,Sean Garrett, and Sean Paul.
