I think people get so caught up in what they want they really don’t realize they’re not offering much in return. These days people are all for themselves, you rarely hear a person say what they would be to someone. You only hear I want, this, this and that! I think its only fair if your asking for certain things in a person you should have something to give them in return. When a person says what they want they usually shut up and leave it at that. Most of the time they don’t rebuttal there statement with what they would do for their spouse. It seems to me these days’ people want it all and don’t want to give or do anything to keep things going. Today I want people to think about what they have to offer a person. We always think about what we want, lets think about what we can give a man/woman and repeat it to a person who your interested in. I will start it off.
If I was your girlfriend, I would help build you up instead of tearing you down. I would be your shoulder when you need to lean on someone. I would be your better half, your friend, your helpmate, your lover, your homey, you’re everything. I can show you things outside the four corners of your hood; take you places you never thought you be. I would let you take the lead, let you protect me, let you love me, let you hold me, help me, and cherish me. I would let you take control of everything I have inside and give all of me to you. Boy I can switch ya neckties to purple labels so partner let me upgrade ya… If I was your lady baby I could drive you crazy…
It fell into my spirit to write that and I’m always hearing a person say what they want, but we also need to say what we have to offer a person. In my book it’s only fair..
