Kelly Rowland Denies Beef With Beyonce

R&B singer Kelly Rowland has been trying to deny those pesky rumors of tension between her and former Destiny’s Child group member Beyonce since the trio split up a few years ago. Reports about relationship issues flared up again this past week after Beyonce released a video for her new single, Why Don’t You Love Me, around the same time that Kelly was to debut the first single from her forthcoming untitled album. But according to Kelly, the timing doesn’t mean anything, everyone can share the spotlight and she still loves Bey.

“We all came out at the same time and it really doesn’t matter,” explained Rowland to HipHollywood.com. “I think there’s room for everybody…There’s [Beyonce], there’s Ciaraputting something out, and [Lady] Gaga putting something out, but because we started together, people are going to say things like that. But I don’t really care, I love her ‘til our dying days and that’s all that counts.”

Rowland’s David Guetta-produced single, Commander, was released last week. The singer is expected to release her fourth studio album later this year via Universal Motown and according to prior interviews, she was inspired by the disco era and will be taking cues from the likes of Donna Summer and Diana Ross. She also collaborated with Will.I.Am, Diddy, and Ne-Yo on the project.
