Mary J Blige Launches New Line of Sunglasses

Mary J. Blige and Intercope Records Chairman Jimmy Iovine has joined forces to develop Melodies by MJB, a new line of sunglasses. The line will launch in Fall 2010 and will feature 4 styles of shades with 20 color options.
To reach out beyond music, an artist has to become involved with something they’re already associated with and truly feel passionate about and not just stick their name on someone else’s product. As her fans know, Mary loves fashion and she especially loves sunglasses, making Melodies by MJB a natural fit for her.” – Jimmy Iovine

Wow I didn’t know she finished school. I remember her saying she wanted to get her GED but I hadn’t realized she got her HS diploma. Good for her. That must feel like such an accomplishment for her. Fantasia also got a degree. Good for them for not being ashamed to show the youth you’re never to old to finish school.
