Stage Play: Preacher Player Takes Center Stage

I had a opportunity to sit down with the cast of the new stage play Preacher Player. Preacher Player is a stage play inspired by the provocative cult classic movie “Preachin’ to the Sistas.” The story is about a skirt-chasing con man who poses as a Preacher in order to steal money from church members.
Reverend Luke Perkins and his sidekick Deacon Ken Larry wreak havoc in the lives of their trusting parishioners. One saintly woman knows the truth about Reverend Perkins and is determined to spoil his good times. This morality tale is an irresistible mix of drama, comedy, and music sure to leave a lasting impression! The cast was very excited to show Chicago how hard they have been working on the play.
