Rihanna’s Distracting Matt Kemp?

Rihanna certainly leaves a mark on the lives of the men she deals with, but that may not necessarily be a good thing. She played Drake, then there was the infamous incident with Chris Brown. Now, reports are saying that the Good Girl Gone Bad singer is causing her current boyfriend, L.A. Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, to not perform on the field as he was previously.

According to recent reports, Matt Kemp has been under-performing ever since his love life with Rihanna has been heating up. He has hit 1 homerun in the last 22 games and has been hitting an average of .196 for the month of June, which is low compared to his performance last season.

To add insult to injury, his coach benched him for the last three games which raised some eyebrows. Some sites have gone as far as comparing Rihanna and Matt’s relationship toJessica Simpson and Tony Romo’s of the Dallas Cowboys.

While Rihanna is being said to be detrimental to Matt’scareer, other athlete’s girlfriends are considered assets to the players they date. For example, the Kardashian sisters have always been said to be good for Reggie Bush (although him and Kim are no longer together) and Los Angeles Lakers’Lamar Odom, the husband of Khloe Kardashian.
