Jay-Z Teams Up With Yankees For Clothing Line

Jay-Z has teamed up with theNew York Yankees to create a limited edition line of baseball apparel that will include the major baseball team’s logo alongside his. The gear, which will go on sale this week, can only be purchased at the YankeesStadium, and will only be available until September 14th.

Jay-Z has always shown his support for the team but the two linked up recently in promotion of his upcoming concerts withEminem, which will mark the first official concert series held inside of the new New York Yankees stadium. He and the Detroit MC will perform at the stadium on September 13 and 14th as a part of their Home and Home tour, which also includes two dates in Detroit’s Comerica Park on September 3rd and 4th.

The gear will include baseball caps, t-shirts, hooded sweat shirts, and other memorabilia.

In other news, Jay recently linked up with Nike to produceAll Black Everything Air Force Ones. The company only created two pairs of the sneakers. One was auctioned off on eBay to benefit the New York MC’s non-profit Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and he was allowed to keep the other pair.
