Foxy Brown Skips Performance After Demands Weren’t Met

Foxy Brown was reportedly angered by New York Citypromoters after they failed to meet all of her demands. According to TMZ.com, the diva requested that she would be picked up for her performance in a 2010 model SUV but was instead greeted by a 2009. Her team quickly got on the phone to complain about the discrepancy to the promoters, perhaps in an attempt to remind them of how big she was a little over a decade ago.

But the situation didn’t end there, the Ill Na Na rapper then showed up to the gig at the Splash Bar New York inManhattan four hours after her scheduled stage time; 30 minutes before the venue closed. The promoters refused to cough up the remainder of her $1,000 appearance fee though so she never actually took to the stage.

A representative for the femcee released a statement regarding the incident, saying, “They promised they would give her the rest of the deposit and balance due when she arrived, but did not! Foxy was disappointed that the deposit and rider requirements were not met, that was all.”

This is just the latest in an odd string of unfortunate situations involving the raptress. The promoters are said to be exploring their “legal actions.”
