A state appeals court has given a $100 million lawsuit against the “Single Ladies” singer the green light, paving the way for the superstar to testify at a deposition.

Her team says it was within its rights to do so because Gate Five didn’t have its financing in place by an agreed-upon deadline.

Gate Five says it was slated to sign a deal for financing on Dec. 6, 2010, but Beyoncé and her people walked away from the table on Dec. 3.

Meanwhile, her sister Solange recently spoke about their close family bond. Smooth sailing: The star relaxing aboard a luxury boat in the South of France. She said her eight-year-old son Julez with ex-husband Daniel Smith is like a sibling to Blue.

Solange told New York Magazine: ‘Blue comes over, I babysit. Beyonce takes Julez sometimes for the weekend. Blue and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins.’
And it seems spending time with
Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z is having an effect on Julez as he is showing signs of being an aspiring rapper.

Solange said: ‘He loves it. It’s so scary.’

Solange, 26, became closer to
Beyonce, 31, following the breakdown of her marriage.

The Losing You singer married Daniel Smith at age 17 and moved away from her family to live with him in Idaho but they separated when she was 21 years old.

She said: ‘It was a time when you really, really need your sister. Every time there was drama and I was all the way in Idaho, it was nice to be able to call. Now it’s kind of a reversal, with her getting married and having a baby after me.’
