Ciara Talks 50 Cent

R&B singer Ciara has come clean on her past relationship with rumored ex-boyfriend 50 Cent and addressed his former girlfriend Chelsea Handler claiming they broke up over her.

While Ciara never had any issues with Handler, the singer did admit she felt the late night talk show host possibly made up a portion of her 50 break-up story.

“I’ve always said we were like best friends,” Ciara told radio host Big Boy referring to Fif. “We were always best friends. [We're not best friends anymore.] … I honestly did hear something [Chelsea Handler] said, I’m not going to act like I didn’t hear anything but I have to honestly say that whatever she said I supposedly said or supposedly told, I never said. Either she was misinformed or she was creating her own fun thing because she always seems like she’s very fun and wild — so I’m assuming she’d create her own story and break down of it all. … We don’t fight over dudes. I gotta say while you’re speaking on it, I did find it very funny though, the things that she was saying. I thought it was interesting that she went there with it.” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)

In July, rumors landed online which suggested Ciara may have stalked ex-boyfriend/rapper 50 Cent.

“Ciara is a beautiful girl, but she just has the worst luck with men. The reason she can’t really keep a man is because she has a nasty habit of stalking them! Most of the men she has dated will confirm that she calls way too much and falls in love too quickly. Even after she and 50 broke up, she still called him numerous times to tell him that she loved him. It annoyed 50 so bad, he had to threaten her with public embarrassment before she stopped making the frequent phone calls.” (Baller Alert)

Last year, Handler said 50′s past
relationship with Ciara tore them apart.

“[I asked him] ‘You’re telling me this girl wants to get back together with you but she’s upset that you’re dating me, is that what you’re saying,’” Handler told radio host Howard Stern recalling her questioning 50 about Ciara appearing on her talk show. “And he’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah. When she comes, just know that’s what she’s after.’ Whatever I called him was probably the worst thing you could say to a black person, short of calling him the N-word. Not a black person, any person. I said you’re like a street person, basically, something along the lines of being a gangster. Past reports claim Ciara is the one who ended the relationship with Fif in 2010.

“They’re keeping it on the DL, but they are dating,” a source tells us of the couple, who just recently took their friendship to the next level about a month ago. According to our source, Ciara, who has been dating rapper 50 Cent on and off for much of last year, officially cut off contact with the hip-hop star when he began hanging out with Handler. “When that Chelsea stuff started, she pulled away from him,” adds the source.
