According to recent reports, R&B group 112 has reunited and will release a new album later this year. The group’s last collective effort was the 2005 album,Pleasure & Pain. Shortly after the release of the album though and amidst rumors of issues regarding money, the members separated to pursue solo careers.

Q Parker, one fourth of the successful group, broke the news via his official Twitter account. “In the studio wit my boys Mike and Daron! New 112 album coming soon!” read the tweet.

112 released their self-titled debut album in 1996 viaDiddy’s Bad Boy record label. It featured the hit singles Only You and Cupid and collaborations with fellow label mates The Notorious B.I.G., Mase, and Faith Evans. The album entered into the top 5 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, and went on to sale over two million copies.

Their sophomore project, Room 112, was released in 1998, and featured the hits, Love Me and Anywhere featuring Lil Zane. Until the last album, the longest gap between projects for the group was 2 years. Room 112’s follow-up, Part III(2001), spun the hit Peaches & Cream, and earned the group their first and only Grammy nomination in the Best R&B Group or Duo category.

The yet-to-be titled album currently doesn’t have a release date.

Well The Dream is still upset that he didn’t get a Grammy so he hanging up his microphones. All I am going to say is, I wonder how his show piece feels about this. Somebody got to work in the house, no shade just keeping it real. Shortly after the release of his sophomore album, Love vs. Money, in 2009 R&B singer The-Dream started warning fans that he planned to retire soon. Now with his third album’s release date nearing, he has once again brought up the retirement talk, and says that he would like this upcoming album to be his last.

While talking to MTV News recently, Dream likened the looming departure to that of Michael Jordan leaving the NBA, and admitted that although he may want to leave, there may be other projects he will be working on in the future.

“You don’t retire on top,” he said. “[Michael] Jordan didn’t retire on top. I’m not saying I’m the best [like him], but I’m the best at what I can do.  And I can stop now and say, ‘This album is pretty good.’”

Even though it’s been a little over twelve months since his last release, a lot has happened with the R&B crooner. Just last August, he was named the new Executive Vice President of Island Def Jam, and in the fall he married pop singer/actress Christina Milian

The title track and first single, Love King, was released in February, and the album is expected to hit stores this spring on May 17.

Good Lord, all he wants to do is get high! Why can’t he smoke his rocks in peace? I mean let DMX be great, he ain’t bothering nobody smoking his rocks why do the police keep messing with him. I heard they got a midday high for the same cost of a 3 piece chicken dinner at J & J fish, and right on the corner of California you can make some extra money washing windshields as cars merge off the expressway. Yes here in Chicago anything is possible if you believe, I just want you to be happy because we here think you are great. I can see you rapping in the middle of 95th street and even in the summer time you can sell waters and cold pop on the side of many expressways.

DMX is currently being held without bond following his arrest on Tuesday (March 9) for violating his parole.

According to the Arizona Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, the rapper was found in possession of cocaine, and admitted to using it.

“He admitted to using cocaine, so he’s back in our jail,” said Arpaio. “I think it’s about time to give him hard time. We do have a great drug prevention program in the jail, so if he stays in our jail system I will consider [letting] him go through our program.”

Gary Jenkins, DMX’s lawyer, reportedly told TMZ that X has been battling addiction for a while now and needs help.

“He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment,” said Jenkins. ”We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him.”

After the judge left the courtroom during the hearing on Tuesday, DMX ranted: “I’m the only one got arrested today…f*cking c*cksuckers do it every time man. I get my rights violated but I gotta be quiet about it…f*cking b*tch man.”

Speaking on X’s situation to Vibe, long-time collaborator and producer Dame Grease claimed that DMX hasn’t been abusing drugs.

“He knows he can’t use drugs because he’ll go to f*ckin jail. I don’t know what the exact terms [of the violation] are, but as far as any dirty urine, I’m not aware of that and I know he’s been clean.”

DMX will report back to court on March 16th.

After several postponements due to dental surgery, a courthouse fire and court-date rescheduling, Lil Wayne finally turned himself in on Monday to begin his one-year jail sentence at Rikers Island. However, he wasn’t the only one feeling the strain. The rapper’s ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Johnson and daughter Reginae shuttled back and forth to the New York City courthouse from Atlanta in anticipation of his incarceration.

“It was up and down, you know. One minute we thought he was going and she’d be sad, and then he don’t go,” Johnson told Vibe magazine recently. “We [were] in New York like two times and we ended up turning right back around because he didn’t go.”

Despite all of the back-and-forth, Reginae missed seeing her father on Monday when he began his sentence stemming from a July 2007 gun-possession charge.

“The last day he finally went in, we didn’t go, so my daughter was like, ‘I wish I would’ve went.’ It was just too much. I just didn’t want to let her see that again ’cause both times she took it real hard,” said Johnson. “So I was like, I’m not gon’ let her go this last time. I’m just gon’ make sure he talk to her ’cause I didn’t know if he was really gonna go. They kept pushing back.”

Wayne might be the biggest rapper on the planet, but he’s just “Dad” to Reginae, so Johnson said the time apart will be hard on the 11 year-old.

“He just told me to be strong and don’t really trip. Don’t let her see me down,” said Johnson. “At first my daughter would see me a little sad and you know kids they react off of your feelings sometimes, so he was just like, ‘Be strong, make sure you take care of her. Make sure she straight and keep her phone on all the time so I can call her. The time is gonna fly by.’

“The whole point of him being in jail is just not good for her — to say her dad’s in jail,” Johnson continued. “But at this point it is what it is, and we just gotta make the best of it. I’ma take her to visit him and talk to him and she’ll get through this eight months. It’ll fly by. I tell her all the time, ‘Just call daddy and tell him you love him,’ and he’ll be home soon.”

Lil Wayne and Johnson married in 2004 and divorced in 2006. In 2009, Johnson and her friend, T.I.’s fiancée Tiny, debuted their BET reality series “Tiny & Toya.” The second season premieres on April 13.

“I didn’t want my kids in a broken home. I was willing to suffer for their sake” Shaunie O’Neal

I know back then I felt obligated to stay with my ex because I didn’t want my kids to come from a broken home. I stayed and endured getting abused physically, mental and emotionally all for what? I convinced myself my kids would be better off being in the home with there mother and father, that they deserved to have that family I didn’t have. No matter how bad it got, I stayed. I won’t lie my self esteem was very low; I didn’t think I could find another man because I had two kids. I felt I wasn’t pretty enough, I didn’t know how to satisfy a man sexually or make a man happy. Honestly I thought those things because it was what he told me. Everything he said I sucked up like a sponged and believed every bit of it like he spoke the good Gospel. I hated my life, day in and day out I was disrespected and put down, no matter how much I tried to do right; it was never good enough. I was miserable and had the nerve to almost get married.

I got my dress, hall, picked out my colors and formed a wedding party. I spent mad dollars on this almost wedding, I will admit at first I was excited; getting married is a major goal for most women. Yet in the back of my mind I battled with the thoughts of his bad temper and awful beatings. How he disrespected me and had a disrespectful side woman who called me whenever she felt like it. I couldn’t force myself to seem excited for very long once the reality sunk in that I did not want to marry a man who was beating me. What was I to do? I sent out invitations and everybody included my mother was excited about the upcoming nuptials. I spent the day alone at the wedding counselor, which happened to be my uncle, and he read me like a book.

“You don’t seem happy, a women who is getting married to the man of their dreams should be happy.” I looked at him and shrugged my shoulders.

I wasn’t happy, “Well we got these kids, all these bills and we been together all this time so why not” I replied to him.

“Because that’s not a reason to marry a man, bills, kids and years don’t mean nothing! If you don’t feel or if you know this man will not be a good husband then everything else doesn’t matter.” He continued, “This is your life, I can see something is going on that you are hiding from us, it something your covering up and I will not marry you.”

I swear it was like a load off my chest because I didn’t want to marry him, I thought about how God always comes right on time. “I spent all this money and what about all the people they’re gonna look at me funny.”

My uncle looked at me “Girl who cares about what folks think, that’s why divorces are high now, folks. Listen nobodies and I mean nobody will have to deal with that man but you. Let them folk’s talk and make up rumors, so what you wasted up a little money marriage is not something you just do. If it’s not about love then there’s not need to continue because anything built on a lie will fail and the money will still be wasted. Beside them folks wasn’t coming to do nothing but get a free meal and half of them wasn’t bringing a gift screw them do what’s best for you. Because once you go home with that man all them folks can care less about what you got yourself into. Don’t sign yourself up for trouble to impress folks because they will always have something to say.”

I left that day and promised myself I would never marry him and although I stayed I keep my promised. It was so many times I wanted to pack myself up and run away but I stayed for my kids sake. Some people feel it’s better you stay and keep the family together but I know that’s not true. I stayed 12 years; I stayed through thick and thin and I tell you it is not worth it! If you are not happy then you have nothing to give your kids period. My grandmother raised us up into believing that you should never leave your house. But what I woke up and realized; the house had left me many years ago. I was just his convenience girl something he felt he would always have. It wasn’t any love for me in that house; just misery and you know misery loves company. If you are not happy it will pour onto your everyday life, your kids, family, career everything will be affected. Your kids will grow up and move out and you will have let your whole life pass you by; years you can’t get back. There’s nothing worst than a man only being with you for kids. We deserve to have a man, a real man who loves us far beyond just that.  So yes if you can’t get that from him you have to move on, because he has. Even if a part of him stays there, the better half of him has moved on to something else and you’re still left with the short end of the stick.

I don’t know why we women feel we have to sacrifice it all to keep our families together when the men clearly could care less if he loses it. I keep it real on here because I know it’s a woman somewhere, feeling just like I did. I just want to let you know, there’s nothing like the love you have for yourself and God. Keep God first, yourself second and everything else will fall in order. You deserve to be respected and treated like a queen because that’s why God put us here. He did not put us here to suffer and be abused. I learned that if you don’t love yourself enough to know you deserve better he won’t treat you better. A man will only do to us what we allow and it’s never to late to take back your peace of mind. No matter what he tells you…YOU ARE WORTH IT! Your kids are worth you packing up your bags and showing them that you don’t have to put up with nonsense for nobody. I know how it feels, but if he’s not putting up a fight for your family you don’t either. Move on, when I look at my grandmother and I love her to pieces I see a woman who gave up all her life and now she has nothing else to live for because she is tired. She let my granddad run her into the ground and I refuse to let anyone run me into the ground I will happily live my life and so can you.

Shaunie O’Neal sat down with Essence Magazine and spilled the tea on why she left Shaq as well as a few rumors. She Also has her new show “Basketball Wives” premieres this Monday, Mar. 15 on VH1.

Miami is a great city. It just wasn’t a great city for our marriage. I know they say L.A. has its groupies, but Miami has a different mentality. Even going to the games, the whole environment is so different. Girls are practically sitting in their bra and panties in the arena. When you’re trying to keep your husband, that’s a lot to take. It was a whole new lifestyle I wasn’t ready for. Apparently we didn’t have a strong enough foundation for Shaq to withstand that type of temptation.

Well looky here Jamie Foxx and Stacey Dash hooked up after she said she lets you smash on the first date. I know if she did smash Jamie marriage wont be next because most not all black men don’t get married like white men do. You could give a ninja yo left kidney and he will still go lay up with the next bish with yo kidney like you didn’t just save his life. Anyhow I do think they make a nice looking couple, however women have to watch what they say because you never know who is listening and who will take them seriously. Stacey will be on the Wendy Williams show today and she said she is now holding the puzzy hostage. Ms Dash is also hitting your tv screens again for a new reality show. Stacey sat down with Wendy Williams to discuss her reality show, the real deal with her and Jamie’s “relationship” and the scoop on her last 3 failed marriages.

SD: No I did not go to the funeral, there was meant to be a memorial but something happened and it fell apart, but I met with Amy Heckerling and we talked about [Brittany]. It’s tragic; it’s a shame because she was just a ray of light.

Okay I was twitter chatting today about a number of things however, this one subject I wanted to touch on. Taking back your Puzzy from your ex. We all had to do this! Once you break up with a man especially if you have kids are married that man feels he still owns you. Even if the man has new women in his life he still feels like he can control your puzzy. We have to take back our puzzy from our ex’s after were done.

Continuing to sleep with him only makes him feel your still there for him. Once you cut a man off from the sex the true him comes out. After that your every no good bish in the book and he can’t stand you. If you have kids sometimes he doesn’t want to give you money or take care of his kids. I don’t know why some men not all men do this the excuse I have gotten is. “Because she must’a been messing around on me with dude anyway.”

Hmm-well ladies once your done you have to take back your puzzy and stick to your guns. Some men might make it hard but it is what you have to do to control your own life if not he will always feel he owns your monkey.
