Music World Entertainment has issued an official press release regarding recent rumours that Beyonce has decided to replace her father as her manager with her husband Jay-Z. In a statement forwarded by Mark Young on behalf of the label, it was confirmed that the singer is still represented by her father and not the Hip-Hop mogul who runs Roc Nation. Young Buck has released a statement in response to the news of his filing for bankruptcy hitting the Internet and according to the Tennesseerapper, he did not voluntarily file for Chapter 13 but was forced to do so, so that he could get his current financial situation under control.

“I was forced to file bankruptcy, not because I am broke, but because I have to get my finances back in order and deal with the contract situations I was in,” said Buck. “Now I have a clean slate and full control over my own life and career.”

According to sources, reps for Buck also confirmed that the Chapter 13 filing negated “any and all contractual obligations” held by the southern MC including “his recording and publishing contracts with G-Unit Recordings.”

Now a free man, Buck also claimed that despite what his bankruptcy attorney, Lynda Jones, told the Nashville City Paper, he has no plans to file a civil suit against 50 Cent and the G-Unit label.

“Where did that rumor come from?! said Buck. “I have not filed suit against anyone, although, maybe that’s not a bad idea.”

According to breaking reports, rapper T.I. and wife Tiny were arrested in the early hours of this morning. The newly wed couple, real names Clifford Harris and Tameka Cottle, were detained for “possession of a control substance”.

Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka. The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.

We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.

Diddy is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit from a former employee, according to TMZ.com. Francesca Spero is accusing the music mogul of firing her fromBad Boy Records over her age and medical problems.

In the civil complaint that was filed in New York Federal Court yesterday (September 1), Spero said she was the Vice President of Management and Publishing at Bad Boy Records and is “renowned for launching the careers of various urban music figures, including Combs.” But once she revealed to Diddy that she needed to have hip surgery back in 2008 their relationship began to sour.

According to her, Combs was “unsympathetic to her condition” and told her that she earned too much money for “someone who could no longer keep up with his fast-paced lifestyle.”

She admits that she “suffered a relapse” during her recovery from the surgery and became addicted to prescription medication and alcohol abuse but she insists that she was still doing her job. She checked into a substance abuse treatment facility in December 2008 and was later fired in March of this year and replaced by a woman who was about 10 to 15 years younger that “lacked the skill set and experience” she brought to the position.

A representative for Combs responded to the lawsuit and told TMZ that the suit is nothing more than “a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.”

Adding, “There are many reasons why Ms. Spero is no longer employed at Bad Boy, but age discrimination is not one of them.”

Lauryn Hill is currently working on her long-awaited sophomore solo project, according to MTV News. The network talked with the female MC about the forthcoming project and while she didn’t divulge too much information she did say, “We’re getting closer.”

Fans shouldn’t expect too many collaborations on the LP either said Hill because her absence from the scene has left her with far too many ideas of her own that she wants to relay.

“It’s been such a long time since I’ve gotten my voice and ideas [out],” she said. “In terms of collaborations, that’s not even something I’ve been thinking about per se. I’m happy that people are still making music. That we still have a platform with which to make music.  It’s gonna be interesting to see what the future holds.”

The singer/rapper also defended new music and said that just because it is different doesn’t mean that it is bad.

“It’s a lot going on. It’s interesting energy. It’s not what it was, it’s different. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing — it’s a different thing,” explained Hill.

“Just like any new opportunity, it’s ripe for a lot of different things. You got a lot of young talent out there. Because we don’t necessarily have the same sort of industry complex that used to exist, people don’t always give, I want to say, proper respect to. But they’re doing it in a really kind of unusual, unique and hard-core way. Because the system is not necessarily in place like it used to be.”

Repercussions, a new song from Hill that leaked onto the Internet a few weeks ago, debuted at the number 94 spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, marking the first time one of the former Fugees rapper’s solo tracks appeared on the charts in over 10 years. It’s currently unknown when her forthcoming LP will be released.

Fantasia is still making rounds and promoting her new album “Back To Me” which will debut on the Billboard charts at #2 this week with over 122k units sold. She stopped by VH1?s offices in New York city for an intimate performance. Throughout her set, she delivered a testimony.

I’m going through this phase in my life where I am tired of pleasing people. The key word is “My Life.” And I have to live it, and what I do is…I use my life as a testimony to help other people. Humans, people who really go through things. And not to long ago, I went through something, I really don’t wanna re-live, I don’t wanna ever be back in that place again. Fans who attended one of the Rock The Bells concerts this year noticed that Lauryn Hill didn’t perform her classic songs the way they were originally recorded, and according to the female MC, she did that on purpose. Rearranging the songs and improvising while on stage help her feel like the songs are fresh.

“There’s been such a long period of time where I haven’t been able to communicate where my mind is, where my consciousness is, where my ideas are,” said Hill while talking to MTV News.

“I have to upgrade [the songs] a bit so that they’re still exciting and fresh and they’re new. There’s something almost jazz-like [about] the way I approach performances. I’m not sure if the audience really understands. We need, or at least I need, a certain amount of spontaneity, a certain amount of improvisation every show. I might have gotten spoiled fromThe Fugees days. We used to improvise a lot. It kept it so fresh and exciting. I need that.”

The singer/rapper still hasn’t confirmed or denied any plans to release new music in the future. But one of her unreleased tracks titled Repercussions hit the radio a few weeks ago and landed the star back on the Billboard charts after more than a decade.
