On Swizz and Alicia’s affair:

S2S: Were you guys dating other people before he got with Alicia? Were you guys separated?
Mashonda: We were married. Sleeping in the same bed and having sex every night while he was seeing Alicia. Okay? It was an affair. 100 percent. I don’t know why people want to change that rule so much. We had just had a kid, for crying out loud. Our child was 8 months. I found out about Alicia two days before my son turned 1. They had been doing their thing for months before that.

On Why She Continues To Speak About It If She’s Moved On:

Mashonda: People ask me why am I still talking about this and why don’t I just leave it alone. I’m like, this is going to help somebody. My story is a universal thing. This is not just something that only happened to me: This happens to women every day. Mine was just ugly. If I can help the next woman get through and be positive, then I’m going to talk about it.

On Alicia Asking Kasseem Jr. to call her ‘Mommy’:

S2S: You said that Alicia wanted your baby to call her “mommy”. How do you know that she said that?

Mashonda: My son told me.

S2S: And you told her that is not going to happen?

Mashonda: Yeah. I sent her an email and asked her to please respect what I am to him and it’s not right for her to think that is okay. She never replied. She doesn’t reply to me. She has never given me that respect.

S2S: What does Swizz say?

Mashonda: He said okay, he would stop it. He wouldn’t let her do it.

S2S: That would be kind of confusing for the child.

Mashonda: Oh, it is. It is so unfair to the child. I have been in contact with the little girls mother (the woman in England who has Swizz’s baby). She’s a young girl. She’s a spiritual girl. She apologized to me… I don’t even judge her. I can’t. She’s totally different than the other one. This other one knew. Alicia knew about me 100 percent. Swizz introduced me at prior events. They were signed to the same record company. She knew. And I emailed her and asked her to stop doing what she was doing and she disregarded me. Just like she disregarded me when I asked her to not have my son thinking it was okay to call her “umi.” You’re not his umi. You just met my son.

S2S: “Umi” is like “mommy”?
Mashonda: “Umi” means “mommy” in Arabic. I’m like no. And then after I spoke to the lady in London, she told me that she tried to get her daughter to call her “umi” as well.

S2S: She’s met the lady in London?
Mashonda: Yes. I’m glad she’s having her own child now because now she will have someone to call her “umi”.

S2S: Wow.
Mashonda: Like, if you want to be a stepmother, that’s great. Be a stepmother. But don’t think that it’s okay to make a kid call you “umi” or “mommy.”

In an interview with MTV News,Swizz Beatz talked about his married life with newly wedAlicia Keys. The couple tied the knot last summer on an island in the Mediterranean, after signing the papers in New York before sailing to Italy.

Swizz Beatz, who will soon become a father, revealed that getting married to Alicia has been a blessing for him and that they are connected on a spiritual level. Also, the hit producer asserted that, “I’m not into the names and the superstars and this and that. I’ve been around that my whole life. It means nothing to me. It’s just about great people.”

Swizz also claimed that although love is just a word, his feelings for the R&B songtress are very strong, especially because they are expecting their first child.

The producer also went on claiming that, “To identify that feeling is something that’s amazing because it doesn’t only come from your partner. It comes from your love for music, your love for people, your love for a lot of things, and I think that once you identify the feeling of love, you’ll be a better person.”

In the last couple of month, Swizz has been under the spotlight for his public divorce from ex-wife, Mashonda.

According to sources close to Jahna Sebastian, his 3rd baby mother that lives out in the UK, he hasn’t been supporting his seed and STILL hasn’t signed the birth certificate despite a paternity test that proves the baby is his. I wonder is it that good?

Sources close to Jahna Sebastian, his London-based baby mama, say that Swizz is a total dirtbag. In an email sent to the I Am.. London Diva blog, back in August 2009, he showed up with Alicia Keys to take a paternity test for his baby girl. As if it wasn’t bad enough that a married man took his jump off to visit his baby mother, he has refused to acknowledge Sebastian’s child, paid a measly $1500 a month and skipped out on her birthday party after planning to throw it. Here are some excerpts of her letter:

Hey London Diva,

I am close friend of Jahna Sebastian, the mother of Swizz Beatz’s daughter. It’s ridiculous how celebrities turn out to be the opposite to what they portray to the public.

Swizz Beatz might be busy getting ready for marriage and new baby with Alicia Keys, but he stopped paying child support to his only daughter with producer/singer Jahna Sebastian who resides in London. Paternity has been established via DNA test taken in August 2009 and Alicia Keys was present.

Jahna has maintained independent parental responsibility for two years trying to reach Swizz Beatz personally but received no response. She then sought attorney’s help and filed petition in July 2009. Swizz first time paid child support in September 2009 starting with $1500. Many people in UK and Russia already know about their two-year old daughter and it seems strange that he still would not publicly acknowledge her. Alicia seems to go along with it too. In May Swizz did not attend his daughter’s birthday although he promised to through a Birthday Party.

Two days later he was in London visiting his fiancé (Alicia Keys) who announced her pregnancy on 27th May when the same day he visited his daughter for three hours.

During the past year Jahna Sebastian and Swizz Beatz have been in and out of court but Swizz did not provide required information. They are going back into the court again very soon as Swizz is not behaving himself as a responsible father.

The 24-year-old single mother graduated from the Russian Music Academy and has been making ends meet working as a music producer, actress and singer.

Obviously because Swizz and AK aren’t Italian citizens, they got officially hitched in the Tri-State area before leaving for Europe. And at that small ceremony, the bride reportedly wore Vera Wang, the groom wore Tom Ford, and, of course, the footwear was all Louboutin (Swizz’s friend and collaborator*). Meanwhile Swizz celebrated with not one but two bachelor parties, one in New York and one on Friday (July 30) at Sardinia’s legendary Billionaire Club (owned by Formula One scion Flavio Briatore and home to the $50k Cristal methuselahs)*.

On Planning The Wedding

Alicia Keys is bringing Jay-Z and Sade to the seventh annual Black Ball charity concert. The “Doesn’t Mean Anything” singer has announced that all three of them are all set to perform at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on September 30 during the fundraising event organized by her Keep a Child Alive (KCA) organization.

“Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine,” the pregnant R& B singer said in a statement. “I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC.” She further promised, “There are more surprises coming up! Please take it easy Ms Keys you can’t be flying across stage while you have a baby girl take it easy. The pregnant songstress fell backwards while performing “Love Is Blind” at the ESSENCE Music Festival on Saturday (July 3). But Ms. Keys kept it moving, getting right back up and playing the piano. A concertgoer can be heard asking, “Did she mean to do that?” Now that’s when you know you’re a true pro!

Alicia Keys finally opens up about her love life with her producer fiancé, Swizz Beatz, 31. She did d an interview recently with Fabulous Magazine. And suddenly she’s gone from streetwise, 12-Grammy-Award-winning performer into a coy, giggling girl.

Her Love For Swiss

“Oh yes,” she says dreamily. “I am very much in love. Right now love is my main inspiration. Love is the one thing we all want in our lives and I am completely surrounded by it. Love fills you up in a way nothing else can and it’s the most amazing, amazing thing.”

It’s the first time she’s publicly spoken about her feelings for Swizz – real name Kasseem Dean. Until now, Alicia has been tight-lipped about her boyfriend, refusing even to confirm they were an item until last month. At which point it emerged that not only are they a couple, but they are also engaged and expecting their first baby together. She’s even considering adopting a child from Africa in the future.

“I’m so looking forward to being a mum,” she says. “My mum was the best mum to me. She was my best friend as well as my mum. And I want to be the same to my child.”

While she may be incredibly happy now, her relationship with Swizz has been far from easy, which goes some way towards explaining her secrecy. But Alicia has always been very private when it comes to her personal life. Before Swizz, she was said to be dating multi-Grammy-Award-winning producer Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers. Alicia Keys and fiancé Swizz Beatz have fallen in love with South Africa. So it’s appropriate they have had their impending marriage blessed in a traditional Zulu ceremony. The hip-hop couple travelled to the city of Durban and donned Zulu clobber and sang songs under a fig tree, dubbed “the healing tree”. Alicia, who is five months pregnant, also had the couple’s unborn baby blessed. The pair were in South Africa to headline the World Cup kick-off concert in Soweto.
