Ciara’s serially delayed ‘Basic Instinct’ project is wrapping up, the singer is set to unleash another video – this time for the high-octane ‘Gimmie Dat’. Check out this newly released teaser for the Melina directed clip, which is set to première in its entirety next Tuesday (October 12th)…

Ciara recently opened up about the alleged beef between her and fellow Atlanta-based singer Keri Hilson and according to the songstress, she has more pressing matters to attend to so she won’t be engaging in a tangle with Hilson.

“In reference to the Keri situation, I’m so in a different space mentally I can’t even bring myself to do that,” saidCiara to the BoomBox. “It’s not [important] to me. There’s just so much stuff to get out of life than that. There’s so much more for me to accomplish in my career. Personally, I’ve decided that it doesn’t make sense to do that.”

Continuing on, Ciara warned fans about believing everything they read, saying, “When you read about people having differences, it’s case by case. Sometimes there [are] songs that make people think that, sometimes there are rumors. You just never know where they come from.”

The speculations behind the suspected Ciara/Hilton beef first started with the release of the remix to the latter’s hit single Turnin’ Me On. Hilton sings, “Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best/ You can dance, she can sing, but need to move it to the left.”

Since then, murmurs about tension existing between the two has grown and most recently it was reported that Keribacked out of New York City’s Power 105.1’s Power Live show because of a heated argument she had with Ciara prior to the event.

In related news, both ladies will release projects later this year. Ciara’s Basic Instinct will hit stores in November and Hilson’s No Boys Allowed is expected to be placed on shelves around the same time.

Ciara called into Jenny Boom Boom & DJ Craig G of Hot 93.7 today. The entertainer took the time to discuss her long-delayed ‘Basic Instinct’ album and confirmed that record will definitely be released in November.

Two promoters are being sued by an entertainment company after they failed to make good on their promises. 80’s Baby Entertainment say they paid Carlos Goodspeed and Jason “DJ J Rudd” Rudd a deposit with the understanding that they could secure rapper Drake and several other artists for two separate concerts but the two never delivered the superstar and then failed to return the deposit.

According to the lawsuit, which was filed on Monday (September 13), 80’s Baby first contacted Goodspeed back in March 2009. The company forked over $27,500 to bookCiara, Plies, Soulja Boy, and Webbie for a Summer Jamconcert but was told later that Ciara had to back out. Goodspeed allegedly promised to return the deposit to the company once the R&B singer’s label refunded the money, however 80’s Baby never saw a dime.

The issue became bigger in July 2009, when the company decided they wanted to book singer Jamie Foxx through another promoter. They needed the deposit they paid Goodspeed for the new concert but still couldn’t retrieve the funds so they weren’t able to seal the deal.

The complaint, then fast forwards to December, when the company started working with a third party and this time they linked up with Rudd in the hopes of booking Drake. They paid a $20,000 fee and in the claim state that contract says that if the Young Money MC was a no-show, their deposit would be returned.

What they didn’t know though at the time was that Rudd and Goodspeed were linked and the money they gave to Rudd actually went into an account that Goodspeed controlled. Again they were misled and they have yet to see either of their deposits.

80’s Baby is accusing the two promoters of fraud, breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation and theft of service and is seeking to recoup $50,000 and an undisclosed amount in damages.

One of Bow Wow ladies, Angela Simmons and her girl were rockin’ out to his ex girlfriend Ciara new song “Gimmie Dat” cute, nice to see them playing around and having fun. In other news, Ciara showed up to the ATL premiere of “Lottery Ticket” starring her ex Bow Wow last week.

I was just as shocked as everybody else was. I’m happy that she came out and enjoyed the movie. I saw that she had tweeted about it so I hit her back and said ‘Thanks, I definitely appreciate it’. But you know how that is, the moment people see us even close or near each other it starts raising eyebrows but no, I’m totally focused to on the project at hand and my career right now. That’s all I will be focused on. I wish her the best of luck. I was definitely glad she came out and supported the film. We’re growing older, we’re maturing and we’re adults and we’re able to go to each other’s events. We’re not the only ex-couple I’ve seen support each other so it shows growth and it’s all good.

Ciara’s ‘Basic Instinct’ LP is pushed back hmmm. However, according the singer there is nothing to worry about, as the delays are “for good reasons”

Ciara fans are still waiting for the music video of the singer’s latest single, Ride, to appear somewhere other than cyberspace, but according to the diva, it may not happen becauseBET has banned the clip.

“My intention is always to do something as good as I can do it, to give my best effort and I always hope that it comes out the way that I envision it,” saidCiara while talking to MTV News. “You never necessarily think, ‘Oh, this is gonna get banned.’”

“In my past experiences with BET, in particular, they have asked me maybe to take out a few things so normally you expect that — not necessarily banned. That was the first time for me and that was definitely something that was unexpected.”

The network though claims that they didn’t ban the singer’s video. In written communication with MTV, BET publicist Marcy Polanco said, “BET never banned Ciara’s video. It went through the normal processes where we gave edits and we never received a response.”

During an earlier interview with Rap-Up, Ciara said that she would be open to making some changes to the video, so that it could be played on BET, since the channel obviously has concerns over its sexual tone, but she also added: “I am definitely aware that my video has some very sensual moments in it. However, I do know that they do play sensual videos as well.”
