50 Cent made a guest appearance at Eminem’s concert with Jay-Z in Detroit last week and while backstage the Queens MC was pictured chopping it up with the Brooklyn lyricist. The image was shocking to fans as Fifhas been taking shots at Jay for a while now but the G-Unitleader revealed during a recent interview that he talked with theBlueprint III rapper and they have cleared up their issues.

“We got a chance to kick it for a minute,” said Fif to MTV News. “I know people were interested in what that conversation was like. But they can ask Jay-Z. I take people’s actions as if it’s genuinely how they feel. I can only use what I saw you do as if that’s what you meant. I can’t understand what your motivations was prior to that.”

Furthermore, 50 said that he also talked with Puffy, another person who has been on the receiving end of a few of his disses, and stated that they cleared up some things as well.

“I had a conversation with Puffy the night before Jay,” he continued. “He gave me a whole new perspective on his actions. He’s like, ‘I understand the way you felt because of what I was doing at the time. But I wasn’t thinking what you was thinking I was. You done hit me nine times. I’m just in the fetal because I understand why you are attacking me. But if I can’t touch bases with you to tell you what I’m thinking or why I did it, then you can’t understand it.’”

Adding, “We created a little clarity there.”

In other news, 50 is reportedly hard at work on his next solo effort, which will be titled The Return Of The Heartless Monster. The LP will be a follow-up to his 2009 album, Before I Self Destruct, and according to Fif, it will be “a classic.”

Diddy is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit from a former employee, according to TMZ.com. Francesca Spero is accusing the music mogul of firing her fromBad Boy Records over her age and medical problems.

In the civil complaint that was filed in New York Federal Court yesterday (September 1), Spero said she was the Vice President of Management and Publishing at Bad Boy Records and is “renowned for launching the careers of various urban music figures, including Combs.” But once she revealed to Diddy that she needed to have hip surgery back in 2008 their relationship began to sour.

According to her, Combs was “unsympathetic to her condition” and told her that she earned too much money for “someone who could no longer keep up with his fast-paced lifestyle.”

She admits that she “suffered a relapse” during her recovery from the surgery and became addicted to prescription medication and alcohol abuse but she insists that she was still doing her job. She checked into a substance abuse treatment facility in December 2008 and was later fired in March of this year and replaced by a woman who was about 10 to 15 years younger that “lacked the skill set and experience” she brought to the position.

A representative for Combs responded to the lawsuit and told TMZ that the suit is nothing more than “a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.”

Adding, “There are many reasons why Ms. Spero is no longer employed at Bad Boy, but age discrimination is not one of them.”

Black Rob is less than happy with Diddy for failing to reach out to him while he was in prison. Pointing out how the Bad Boy CEO personally went to visit Lil Wayne at Rikers Island, Robsaid that his former boss didn’t do so much as get one of his several employees to write him a letter while he was serving his sentence.

“As far as all the people at Bad Boy, nobody reached out to me [when I was in jail] because all it takes is the press of the button, department of corrections, you know my name and birthday. I used to work there,” said Rob during an interview with ThisIs50.com.

“When I heard this n*gga went to see Wayne in jail and you ain’t come and see BR? After all the years we spent together? Like, that sh*t didn’t mean nothing to you, dawg? You actually think I’m not your man? So that right there told me that n*gga was never my man. You had like 50 employees, you ain’t even have to write the letter.”

Former Bad Boy artist Shyne also called out Diddy for being a no-show while he was in prison as well. But during a recent interview with VIBE, Puff denied mistreating any of his former artists and said that he is not responsible for their downfall.

“There’s an off perception that needs to be addressed about me that I have ever robbed somebody or mistreated somebody. Or tried to be ruthless or whatever in this game,” he said. “It’s something that I do have a problem with because they don’t have no proof that I’ve ever done nothing like that.”

Fans and industry professionals have often commented on the demise of artists who sign toDiddy’s Bad Boy Records. For a while it seemed that the career of every rapper or singer that signed with Combs took a turn for the worst, and naturally everyone blamed the CEO. But during a recent interview withVIBE, Diddy denied having anything to do with those one-time celebrities falling off the map.

“There’s an off perception that needs to be addressed about me that I have ever robbed somebody or mistreated somebody. Or tried to be ruthless or whatever in this game,” said Diddy.

“Like, all this year I’ve heard people say, ‘Where’s Carl Thomas, where’s Black Rob, where’s G.Dep? Where are these artists?’ And for some reason they go ahead and equate that, because those artists aren’t with me, that I’ve done something wrong or malicious or conniving. It’s something that I do have a problem with because they don’t have no proof that I’ve ever done nothing like that.”

Further defending himself, Diddy pointed out that most artists have a short life expectancy in the music business anyway; not everyone can have longevity.

“But people don’t understand this game that we’re in. You have a short life expectancy. It’s rare to be a me, to be aJay-Z, an LL, a Nas,” he explained.

“That sh*t is a rarity. That’s not even one percent of the rappers. If you look any artists that were on Ruff Ryders…Def Jam…Roc-A-Fella, Jive, where they at? It’s not like anything was wrong with them. It’s just that you have a four, five-year average in this game…”

The remainder of Diddy’s interview will be featured in the August/September issue of VIBE.

Today Forbes’ List announced theHip-Hop Cash Kings of 2010, as most could probably guess, Jay-Z headed the list, having earned $63 million this year making him number one by more than double any of his competitors. Jay falls into the 35% tax bracket meaning that his line from 2006’s Oh My God, “What you call money/ I pay in taxes,” has pretty much come true as he will end up paying approx $22 million in taxes this year; more than the total earnings of any other rapper aside from Diddy, who takes second place with $33 million.

Surprisingly the average earnings of the Top 20 comes to $15 million, which is approximately the same as last year, despite the current state of the economy.

Since his incident at the VMA’s and temporary disappearance from the public eye, Kanye West has earned only $12 million this year, in comparison to the $25 million he earned last year, with the anticipation surrounding his new album however, he is expected to climb the list considerably next year.

I see you Drake… Get that money!

The Top 15 is as follows:

1. Jay-Z – $63m

2. Diddy – $30m

3. Akon – $21m

4. Lil Wayne – $20m

5. Dr. Dre – $17m

6. Ludacris – $16m

7. Snoop Dogg – $15m

8. Timbaland – $14m

9. Pharrell Williams – $13m

10. Kanye West – $12m

11. Drake – $10m

12. T.I. – $9m

12 Swizz Beatz – $9m

50 Cent has been sending jabsDiddy’s way for a while now and during the BET Awards post-show this weekend, the music mogul sent out a subliminal message that seemed to be aimed at none other than the G-Unit leader.

“Check this out,” said Diddy. “I love my people. Let’s stop the hate, man. Congratulate. Hate is for suckers. If you hating, you a sucker, and you’re ashy and your breath stink. And you know who I’m talking to, you hating-ass crab.”

At the beginning of the then-one-sided squabble, Fiftyappeared to be calling out Diddy over his new alliance withRick Ross. The Queens rapper and Ross have been involved in a beef for the past year and apparently Fif didn’t take to well to Diddy helping the southern rapper out.

Diddy is now reportedly Ross’ manager and during an interview he compared the Miami-based MC to theNotorious B.I.G, which led to 50 calling him “senile” for thinking that he could re-create his success from the 90s.

Fif then followed up by attacking Diddy’s music by saying, “His music sucks. It’s bad. He’s not an artist anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.”

In related news, Rick Ross is scheduled to release his albumTeflon Don later this year, assuming that the drug kingpin of the same name does not succeed in getting an injunction against the rapper.

Diddy is also expected to release his long awaited LP, Last Train To Paris, the project has been heavily delayed, but his latest single, Hello, Good Morning, has been picking up steam.

Originally known as The Supreme Team, Diddy’s rap super crew has changed their name after finding out that another group already owns the moniker. Now the collective, which includesRick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Red Cafe,DJ Khaled, and Diddy, himself, goes by the name Dream Team.

Diddy announced the name change via his Twitter account and during a recent interview, rapper Rick Ross went into further detail about the adjustment.

“Shout out to Irv Gotti and their whole movement, they’ve been repping the Supreme Team for a minute,” explainedRoss. We were caught up in the moment; it just fit the situation so good. We kind just did our crew thing and ran with it.”

In the end though, Ross thinks that the new name fits the group better and draws comparison to the original Dream Team, which was made up of the 1992 gold-winning U.S.Olympic basketball team.

“I felt like the Dream Team was even more appropriate,” he said. “I felt that was the greatest team ever put together. They assembled the greatest players from each market on the same team and they went and took on the world. They conquered the world! Shout out to the Dream Team and theSupreme Team.”

Last year it was rumored thatDiddy was close to signing a deal that would give him ownership of struggling soccer team, CrystalPalace. But according to recent reports the music mogul turned down an offer on the team.

“There was somebody that had looked at it [for me] but it just wasn’t the right business move at the time,” explained Diddy while talking to UK’s BBC. “I’m always looking for different business ventures and it’s definitely one of my dreams to be part of a sports franchise, especially a football team.”

While he didn’t go into detail about what made him walk away from the deal, Diddy did say that he is still interested and if “the right team” comes forward, he would be willing to come to the table again.

“If the situation comes my way and it’s appealing, we can make the splash and most, importantly, build the right team and win… I’m into winning and if it’s right situation then I’m open to it,” he said.

In other news, Diddy’s forthcoming album, Last Train To Paris, has been pushed back yet again. The project is now expected to hit stores in September and will be loaded with collaborations from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, T.I., and Jay-Z, amongst others.

You would think Diddy had enough on his plate preparing for his new release of Last Train To Paris but it seems the Bad BoyCEO is now looking to add a new role to his resume, as American Idol judge.

After taking a look at judgeSimon Cowell’s paycheck,Combs became interested in taking a spot on the panel. Diddy told MTV, “I have been fronting all this time, trying to act like I don’t want that spot. [But] I spoke to Simon’s business manager, and I found out how much that boy makes a week. I am praying right now toAmerican Idol.”

To move along the process, the mogul is encouraging fans to make his new career endeavor a trending topic on social networks.

“I want everybody to get on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and say that Diddy should get the Simon spot — but for the same amount of money that Simon was getting, else it’s a deal-breaker.” said Diddy.

The label exec also emphasized that his interest would only remain as long as the paycheck remains the same asSimon’s.

“I’m tired of being cool: That number that Simon was getting a week is ridiculous. I can’t even be cool with that. Please, can I have the job, whoever’s in charge of giving that job?” he said. “There’s no negotiating the contract. Just change the name on the check, and I’ll be there.”

Diddy adds, “More money, no more problems.”

Well that’s what he said and I have to agree with him, this man is a well thought businessman. I believe he is the only person that made it through this industry without fading away. Diddy stalled hopping on his Last Train to Paris to spend a little time with XXL. The hip-hop mogul appears in XXL magazine’s upcoming June issue and it’s his very first time being featured on the publication’s cover.

“Hands down, undisputed, I’m the undisputed heavyweight champion of hip-hop. We are going to have to deal with those facts. There is nobody that can fuck with me with what I do, which is getting busy. We are going across the board, as an entrepreneur, innovator, motivator. Who was there first? Who traveled to Europe first? The first. The first. The first. The first. I was the first.”
