It appears that Kanye West has had a change of heart in his decision to not release a track last week for G.O.O.D. Friday. West has released a track for his series on Friday morning (October 1). The track calledChristian Dior Denim Flowfeatures Lloyd Banks, Pusha T,Kid Cudi, Ryan Leslie, and John Legend.

West originally had a different track to release this week titled Lost In The World. After the song was leaked online on Wednesday (September 29), West announced he would not release a song this week. He explained on Twitter, “Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I’ve decided to pass of Good Fridays this week”. West discussed, “It’s messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone.”

However, West said on Friday via Twitter, “I’m still trying to release a GOOD Friday song 2nt… Let’s pray!” That post on was followed by the title of the song for this week.

The track Christian Dior Denim Flow is another release ofWest’s unique sound and a mixture of diverse artists on a track. West’s upcoming album is projected to drop on November 22nd of this year.

In an interview for XXL, Kanye West expressed his thoughts on the comment President Barack Obama made a year ago after the rapper interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards of last year. In an off camera recording, the President was filmed addressing Kanye as a “jackass” for disrespecting Swift while she was giving her acceptance speech.

So far the rapper had not answered to the President yet, although the two of them have met several times and have a solid relation. However, after a year, Ye has finally addressed the issue by asserting that he is sure President Obama had more serious things on his plate to think about than losing sleep over the well-known West-Taylor incident.

Kanye said, “When Obama called me ‘Jackass,’ after the Taylor incident, I thought that the [wrong] person [had] to be speaking off the record. Obama has way more important stuff to worry about than my public perception. He was trying to pass the healthcare bill. And if he said that to relate to the room or lighten the room up and the whole mood, then I’d be more than happy to be the butt of all of his jokes if it in the some way helps his overall mission.”

Ye concluded by claiming that, “I’m a soldier of culture. I’m resilient. I’m sure I’ll still beat him in basketball.”

With his popularity back on the rise, Kanye West will reprise his role as a flashy battle rapper on Fox’s The Cleveland Show. Last season, West’s character, Kenny West, beefed with Cleveland Jr.over a girlfriend, which ultimately led to a classic rap battle at a school party, after recognizingCleveland Jr.’s rapping skills the two parted amicably.

In the season premiere art imitates life when Kenny West, a once popular rapper on the rise, has hit hard times, Cleveland Brown rescues the rapper by writing a hit song titled Be-Cleve In Yourself and all is well. Last season, West, the cartoon, had rhymes as good as his human self, “Not long ago, I was lower than Lohan/ No plan, a lost man, raising my little girl in a Cadillac Brougham/ My quest success, but my life was a mess/ Poor Kenny West, no zest, and he depressed/ Not dressed to impress/ Matter fact, more stress than John Mayer waiting on his AIDS test.”

After the success of his MTV VMA performance of Runawayand his continuing promise of music every G.O.O.D Friday,West’s career seems to be back on a spaceship ride to the top.

Kanye West will rejoin the animated cast as a guest in the season 2 premiere of The Cleveland Show on September 26 at 8:30 P.M. Eastern/Pacific on Fox.

Kanye West is on the October Issue of XXL. His cover story consists of a first person narrative in which he reveals how bad he f*cked up last year. Here’s a few excerpts via MTV:

In a way, I had thrown a Molotov cocktail at my own career, and it gave me an opportunity, for the first time, to go away and find out who I was,” he wrote. “Because I felt very alone.

Dipset members Cam’ron and Jim Jones linked up together to release a new track that takes aim Jay-Z and Kanye West. Rapping over the instrumental toWest’s new song Runaway, they call out the Chi-town rapper for leaving Dame Dash for Jay-Z.

“Kanye you a sucka n*gga/ Dissed Dame, so my attitude is f*ck that n*gga,” raps Cam.  “Stuck to Jigga. How you gon’ live with that? Took the beat, now come get it back.”

Ye premiered Runaway at the MTV Video Music Awards this past weekend and he is currently filming a noir-style movie to go along with the track. The movie, which will draw its inspiration from his career, will revolve around a phoenix that has fallen to earth.

“I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world,” said Kanye to NYmag.com. “I’ve been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It’s been in my heart for a while. It’s maybe parallel to my career. I threw a molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person.”

Runaway will appear on Kanye’s currently untitled album which will be released later this year.

“I wish they all knew how much I really cared about music and pop culture and art and peoples feelings,” Kanye West tweeted Saturday (September 4) about last years incident at the MTV VMAs, jokingly dubbed “Swiftgate”. Known to the world as being arrogant, West wrote heartfelt tweets on the one moment that threatened to ruin his career, “I wish I could talk to every hater face to face and change their opinion of me…one conversation at a time.”

With the VMAs taking place next Sunday (September 12) andWest scheduled to perform, last year’s outburst can’t help but to loom over the Grammy Award-winning rapper/producer’s head.

After his big interruption at last year’s Video Music Awards,West cancelled his scheduled tour with pop star Lady Gagadue to low ticket sales and was victim to numerous death wishes via Twitter, “People tweeted that they wish I was dead…No listen. They wanted me to die people. I carry that. I smile and take pictures through that.”

West has since joined Twitter and is a few hundred shy of one-million followers, however he follows merely two people,Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. It seems unexpected that he would follow the person who was at the center of his near career suicide but West tweeted, “She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She’s just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us…I’m sorry Taylor.” Ultimately, Kanye West hopes to make final amends with Taylor Swift through a song he wrote for her that he wants her to have, if she doesn’t accept it he wants to perform it for her.

As well as working on his upcoming album entitled Good Ass Job featuring collaborators such as Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj,West has also promised the release of a new song every Friday, Good Fridays, until Christmas; he has since releasedSee Me Now, Power (Remix), and his latest release Devil In A New Dress.

The mediation between Kanye West and Suge Knight last Thursday (August 26) was unsuccessful; the parties were unable to come to agreeable terms. This marks the second time the two have come together in hopes of ending the formerDeath Row label CEO’s civil suit before the trial date but according to Knight’s attorney, Marc Brumer, it appears they may be headed to court.

Knight physically attended the meeting in Miami, whileWest participated via phone due to prior commitments. The two met in New York for the first mediation and according to the former music mogul and his lawyer, other than denying responsibility, West didn’t offer up much information at that time.

The suit stems from a 2005 incident in Miami. Knight was at party hosted by West at the Shore Club when a shooting broke out, resulting in him being shot in the leg.

He is suing the Chicago MC and the owners of the night venue for $200,000 in medical bills in addition to more than $1 million in damages for their alleged failure to provide enough security for the event. He also claims he lost a diamond earring worth $135,000 in the melee.

The trial date for the case is December 6th.

As it seems G.O.O.D Music Daywill not be going ahead as planned with Kanye Westreleasing his album in mid-November now and KiD CuDidropping his project Man On The Moon 2: The Legend Of Mr. Rager on October 26, however, fans of the G.O.O.D Music movement won’t be kept waiting with nothing to listen to.

Kanye announced yesterday (August 22) via his Twitter account that the G.O.O.D family “look at the game completely different(ly) now” and that he understands that the fans “need the music.” He also explained that the reason why he recently dropped his Beyonce and Charlie Wilsonfeatured track, See Me Now, for the fans, the summer and barbeques, claiming it wasn’t about him.

West went on to explain that he will be dropping a new track every Friday up until Christmas and has dubbed his new scheme G.O.O.D Fridays. The songs won’t all be by Kanyehimself; he tweeted that, “It may be my song it may be a new Jay song etc.” and he went on to describe that the songs released would be “from the family”.

In other G.O.O.D Music news, Big Sean’s highly anticipatedFinally Famous Vol. 3 mixtape will drop tomorrow (August 24) via Don Cannon’s Twitter after days of claiming that it would be coming soon. Sean redirected complaints about the release to Don Cannon claiming, “I told him we shoulda been put it out,” forcing Don to step up and give the tape a release date.

According to recent reports,Kanye West is set to make a triumphant return to the MTV Video Music Awards this year.UsWeekly.com is reporting that the Midwest rapper will perform during the award ceremony on September 12.

West, 33, made headlines last year after he interrupted country-pop singer Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video award during the event. After taking the microphone from the teen star, he famously uttered the words: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”

At first everyone assumed it as another one of MTV’s staged incidents but the network came out later and denied being involved. West went on the Jay Leno Show and apologized to fans and Taylor for his behavior and announced that he would be taking some time away from the public eye to re-group and up until a few weeks ago, he has kept an extremely low-profile.

West is now prepping for the release of his new album though, which will reportedly be titled Dark Twisted Fantasy. The lead single Power just hit airwaves and the video for the track was premiered by MTV.

He sent out a tweet thanking the network for airing the video and giving him another chance. “Thank you MTV [for putting]Power right after your #1 show,” he wrote. “I feel the love! And thanks for the 2nd, I mean 3rd, ok, 4thchance!!!”

Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, 30 Seconds To Mars, Usher, Pink, and Katy Perry are also scheduled to perform at the VMA awards.
