Kim Porter looks way older than her age, I’m not for sure how old she is, but she looks like she at least 40. This is what happens to you when you let a man worry you and steal all your years away. She hosted a special upcoming album party at Phillipe Chow earlier today for singer Estelle.  “All of Me” is supposed to be released sometime this year. Also in the building was Denyce Lawton, Jill Marie Jones, Hill Harper, Miss Info, Claudia Jordan, Melyssa Ford and Terrence J.

I want all ladies and gentleman to understand that, “in life all you have is your name and once it’s messed up you ain’t worth much.” My grandmother feed that to us as little girls, day in and day out she drilled it into our heads that once you taint your name there’s nothing you can do to change it.  I always give the same advice to young girls when I go out to speak because this message has gotten lost somehow. Sacrificing your name for whatever reasons will only lead you to trouble there’s no turning back once the damage is done it’s done. Yes you can change your life choices but you can not erase the past or change the way some people will look at you afterwards. With that being said, please live for today but walk  for tomorrow, because although tomorrow is not promised it might come and you don’t want to do something today that will destroy your tomorrow.

Yes, we just pitched a show to VH1, it’s like a docu-soap, part reality, part scripted, it’s gonna be like a black female Entourage, and they bought it on the spot. Kim Coles, Melyssa Ford and Elise Neal are on it with me and right now it’s called Single, Sexy and Starving, not starving for food, but maybe one of us is starved for love, maybe one of us is starved for more career things. That’s the working title right now.
