Rap icon Nas and G-Unitmember Lloyd Banks will set aside their differences and collaborate. Although Nas and50 Cent were beefing, Kanye is aiming to bring Banks and Nastogether on one of his upcomingG.O.O.D Friday tracks.

Lloyd Banks most recently spoke to XXL about the track, saying: “The record I had did for Kanye, he was saying he was putting Nas on it, so you may be seeing that in the future.”

G-Unit leader, 50 Cent, previously spoke about the beef between him and Nas, “You know what, me and Nas, we was cool, we used to be good.”

“I didn’t understand his actions. The first thing that started feeling a little off with him was the Jennifer Lopez sh*t. I had done a record on the Jennifer Lopez album […] after I got shot…this is the first thing I’m doing trying to come back out. Irv Gotti was running around calling everybody and saying don’t do business with these guys…you do business with him, we are not f*cking with you. At the time, they were selling records so people weigh their value by what you can do for them and they were leaning towards Irv and them and they actually took me off the record and put Nas on the record because she [Jennifer Lopez] was on Columbia andNas is on Columbia,” Fif continued to talk about how the beef started.

DJ Whoo Kid has also weighed in on his opinion about Nasin the past. In an interview, he told True Stories TV, “I respect Nas and all the sh*t he’s done. But personally, what he did to me was p*ssy. It was a p*ssy thing! […] He refused to come on my show because of 50 Cent and he told my boy that. […] I could understand if your A&R is playing around with me like, ‘I don’t want to come to your show blah blah blah’ but I had my boy personally go ask him and he personally said, ‘Nah I can’t do it man, I just can’t do it.’ […] I was with him even before the It Was Written, when he was beefing with Jay-Z…I was there. I bought him the bean pie and all that stuff. If it wasn’t for that beef with Jay-Z, he would not be who he is today. That was the personal anger that I had to put out there. But other than that, I’m not dissing Nas.”

Nevertheless, Lloyd Banks and Nas are projected to be on a record together regardless of the previous disagreements between the G-Unit entourage and Nas.

Nas will release a follow-up to his classic 2002 compilation, The Lost Tapes, by the end of this year. Announcing the forthcoming project on Twitter, the New York lyricist, simply wrote, “It’s coming…Lost Tapes Volume Two!!!”

Talking about the CD with MTV News, the Illmatic rapper said that after this collection of unreleased tracks is unleashed, he will then move forward with a new solo LP, which will hit stores next summer.

“I’m unloading records I want the streets to hear,” said Nas. “Cleaning out my hard drives. Gonna do this, then start fresh. I’m dropping my solo LP before the summer of 2011. I love the energy the world has been giving me over the last two years. But now it’s time to focus on owning the streets again.”

Nas’ upcoming solo effort will feature him working with new producers. He has reportedly been in the studio withBangladesh and together they hope to create a “more aggressive” sound. RZA is also rumored to play a role on the new LP, telling MTV that he and Nas are still working on finding the right time to hit the studio.

“We’re still trying to figure our schedule out. We both got a lot of big life ahead of us,” RZA said. “But we’re getting in. We’re gonna make that classic. You know what it is.  Last time, Nas did a verse for me that was on Verbal Intercourse. That was a classic. To get back in and make another classic like that would be real good.”

While the idea may sound rather sentimental and come off as a nice gesture, too many have had to learn the hard way that tattooing the names of their significant others is never the best option to scar their body with. For Nas, a substantial amount of grief, and even more reported child and spousal support has come from a woman that he left inked on his right arm.

There are now reports, however, that the rapper has chosen to get rid of the reminder and will build upon it instead of having it completely removed. Nas also says he wants the ladies to know he is single and ready to mingle. He is such a cutie to me..

Songs and entire albums have always ended up in the wrong hands, but the illegal act, which usually happened eventually, is now happening almost immediately after the song is created. The internet, despite all of its up-sides, has not only sped up the process, but greatly increased the number of people who are able to get their hands on the tracks.

As one of the music pirates most recent victims, 50 Cent had his entire fourth studio album, Before I Self Destruct, leaked out onto the internet over a week before its official release. When asked about his view on piracy, he emphasized the need for the music business to keep up with the new wave of bootlegging.

“I think we’re just experiencing technology and we have to pass new laws, eventually, to change how music is being distributed,” 50 said.

In similar fashion, New York rapper Nas teamed up withDamien Marley for Distant Relatives, a tribute album to Africa, and nearly all of the LP’s songs have ended up online, but the emcee has accepted it as a part of the music business and thinks that in time things will change.

“It’s always gonna leak, no matter if it’s the Internet or what,” said Nas during an interview with TheLifeFiles.com. “It was always leaking before the Internet. It is what it is. I don’t like saying [the Internet takes away from sales.] When it first happened, yeah, it was a lot of music being stolen, it still is, and at first it was such a new thing that everybody blamed the Internet but it’s the new world. It’ll balance out eventually.”

Just yesterday (May 12), Bow Wow’s song Cuff Ur Chickfeaturing Fabolous and Drake found its way online and an angered Bow took to Twitter to announce that the song was not an official release and was in fact a year ahead of its time because his album is not scheduled to come out until 2011.

“My album not coming out til next year,” he tweeted. “I was holding on to that record. It was not suppose to drop. That was my dream project. F*ck!…A [year] early?…Why me man? I work too hard man! …Guess [I’ll] be shooting this video by next week…Not happy ‘bout it but what can I do now?  Power of the net, I mean what’s next huh?”

All that child support money Kelis gets and Nas can’t see his baby on demand? And she always somewhere who has baby Rider? New York rapper Nas recently opened up about his son and how hard it is to visit him while in the middle of a very public divorce with his estranged wife, Kelis. The Queens-bred lyricist made headlines earlier this month after revealing that he didn’t have enough money to pay the court-mandated child and spousal support and needed the amount reduced, but it seems that funds may only be one facet of his problems.

“My son was born with ice grills, so when his mom feels in the mood she sends pictures,” said Nas. “If not, it’s hell. It’s hell trying to figure out, trying to get him — I’ll just leave it at that. It’s hell. A man shouldn’t go through that sh*t, but it’s another story I’ma tell at a different time.”

“Overall he’s super good and when I do get him there’s nothing better in the world,” he added. “When I get both my kids together it’s beautiful.”

In related news, Nas has linked up with Damian Marley for an album titled Distant Relatives, which will be released on May 18. The LP will revolve around Africa and its history, and the proceeds will go to a project in the continent focusing on building schools.

During the interview, Nas also hinted at a forthcoming solo album, saying: “I just started working it. I’m just gonna let nature take its course. I’m letting it out, man.

Hip Hop icon Nasir “Nas” Joneshas requested a reduction on child support payments, as he is unable to pay the amount primarily mandated by the courts. Recent reports show that Nashas been ordered by the court to pay over $87K in back child and spousal support. He claims that he cannot pay separated wife Kelis that amount along with the additional $10,000 a month in spousal support which is to stay current.

Although the judge estimated that Nas earns $152,031 monthly, the MC states that he makes “substantially less than that amount.” Mark Vincent Kaplan, his attorney, is asking the judge to reconsider the initial amount, TMZreports.

Furthermore, Kelis has reportedly requested that her request for a divorce be quickly processed. According to reports, the female raptress stated in a declaration that it would be best for both of their marital status be terminated as soon as possible. Since Kelis is afraid that the legal matters could take years to configure, she requests that the marriage is terminated immediately. She also stated that she doubts there will be any type of rekindle in their relationship, “I believe there is no possibility of reconciliation with Nas.”

Nas has agreed and wishes to move forward and continue to care for his family.  Allegations against him were dismissed after he paid nearly $50,000 in child support to Kelis. Her attorney sought the charges after Nas fell $200,000 behind on child and spousal support payments. He was ordered in December 2009 to pay more than $51,000 a month to Kelisand their son.

In a statement released on Wednesday (May 5), Nas says: “All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters.”

Nas is always on the next level, through everything he still makes good music.

Sure not paying bills with it, she was put on blast for skipping out on paying for her mink ponytails. A lawsuit was filed against Kelis for $5k.  A Santa Monica hairstylist claims that Kelis stiffed her on a $5,000 hair weave bill. According to TMZ:

Kelis got the weave at a fancy schmancy Santa Monica salon back in May 2009 but, according to legal docs, the singer never coughed up the dough.

Monday morning, the stylist showed up for the trial, but Kelis didn’t … so the judge entered a default judgment for the full amount.

With Kelis working and topping charts I figure Nas should go back down to the court house and beg to get his payments lowered. I mean she is now working and can spring on her own mink ponytails. Kelis is doing great she released her video and her song is topping the charts Kelis’ newest single, “Acapella,” topped the Billboard Dance & Club Songs chart earlier this month, it was the singer’s first chart-topper since 2003′s “Milkshake.” Oddly enough, it started as just a Dave Guetta beat she had lying around and a melody she couldn’t quite get out of her head.

“I’ve known Guetta for a long time just as a DJ in France, just partying in Paris and just being out there,” Kelis recalled. “I didn’t even know he was doing a record until a friend of mine sent me some beats, and he was like, ‘Guetta would love for you to write something for his album.’ I just started writing to a bunch of them, and I just heard this beat, and there was no melody to it. It was just a beat. I just had this melody that came to me right away, so I just laid this melody down really quick and just forgot about it and kept moving and doing stuff.”

Kelis said she listened to it every day in the studio and tried to write something to it. She said “Acapella” eventually came to her. She never expected much would come of it — especially not a #1 record.

“I knew that I loved it, and I felt really good about it,” she said. “It’s exciting to see that people feel what you feel. That’s always encouraging. But I had no idea that that would happen that quickly like that. I just knew that the song felt really real for me.”

“Acapella” is the lead single from Kelis’ newest album, Flesh Tone. The album, which she expects to be released in June, is her first under Will.I.Am’s Will.I.Am Music Group. Kelis worked with the Black Eyes Peas head honcho on her previous record and was impressed with his musical IQ.

“There’s not a song you can mention or an era you can mention in music that he doesn’t know about or understand what made it that,” she marveled. “I think it’s key in trying to do something fresh. It just felt comfortable and felt right, and I haven’t been a part of a group since my first, second record [with the Neptunes].”

She is also looking forward to performing the track at the Winter Music Conference in Miami later this week.

“It’s great, because I think ‘Acapella’ is a really great song to perform, and for some reason my first singles are always a nightmare to perform live,” she laughed. “And this is actually really fun.”

Was 50 Cent warning Nas about his wife Kelis in Piggy Bank? Seems like he was in my opinion however, now Nas is feeling the heat of the divorce on his wallet. Honestly it’s so many stories out there who knows what happen that broke these two apart, but I do remember in Nas first baby mother book Carmen she said her and Kelis fell out. She also said Nas tried to stick her with no child support to so maybe this is how he is once he jumps ship. I feel like Carmen was a dirty bish, not only did she smash the homie she smash the mans rival Jay-Z for years behind Nas back.  Now I know your saying “well he cheated on her to” but you don’t gets ya man back like that damn. Kelis’s lawyer filed a contempt motion against Nas last week because he now owes over $200,000 in unpaid child support, along with attorney fees. Last year, he was ordered to pay Kelis over $50k a month in child and spousal support and hasn’t been able to keep up with the payments.  Although Nas  has plead Not Guilty he could face jail time if convicted.
