FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Police are investigating a reported rape at the Walmart in Fayetteville. According to a police report, a 3-year-old girl told her mother a man carried her into the store’s bathroom and raped her.

Police used surveillance video and determined their suspect was Brandon Hutson, 25, a Springdale resident. The police report states security from the Fayetteville store contacted the Springdale Walmart to tell them to be on the lookout for Hutson.

Hutson was arrested at the Walmart in Springdale at 9:00 p.m. Friday. The report states police responded to a report of a suspicious person trying to help a little girl find her mother. In the report, Hutson said he was following a girl around the store but he denied raping a 3-year-old earlier in the day at the Walmart in Fayetteville.

Hutson is charged with kidnapping and rape. He is a registered sex offender.

A Texas man is in police custody after authorities say he beat his son for eight hours until he died because he would not fall asleep.

Police arrested 34-year-old Alex McGowen Duncan for the fatal beating of his son 6-year-old Tekerrious Jackson after police say he beat the boy for two weeks after he came to stay with him for the summer.

Houston police report that Duncan would force the child to get on his knees and raise his arms above his head before punching him in the chest.

On Friday at around 7 p.m. police believe Duncan saw the boy’s eyes flutter in the one-bedroom apartment he shared with his girlfriend 30-year-old Tammyra Sampson and her 11-year-old daughter.

The man reportedly became so enraged that he ordered the boy to raise his hands above his head and punched his chest repeatedly until 3 a.m. Saturday.

Duncan described the punishment to police as “chest boxing” and said his girlfriend only intervened to “show him”how to discipline the child with a belt.
Both Sampson and her daughter witnessed the beating until the boy showed signs of having a seizure, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.

When the father was interviewed by police he told them he beat his son to teach him how to “man up.

Police say Duncan also admitted to beating the 11-year-old girl but said “not as severely” because she was a girl.

The child has been taken into child protective custody while both Sampson and Duncan were arrested.

Sampson has been charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury by omission while Duncan has been charged with murder.

“The first thing is go see a doctor, be checked to make sure you are medically alright.”

Man Gets Life Sentence After Sexually Abusing Baby Daughter And Freezing Her To Death, William Page told the judge he’s innocent, said he got an unfair trial, and then was sentenced to life in prison for leaving his 23-month-old daughter outside to freeze to death after sexually abusing her.

Page’s daughter, Nyia, was found dead in Feb. 2007. Page molested the girl then became angry because she kept removing her diaper. He then left her outside in freezing temperatures. Nyia’s body was found in a wooded area of Rankin, Pa., east of Pittsburgh. Jurors convicted him in March, but split on whether he deserved the death penalty.

Page on Tuesday denied having killed anyone and vowed to fight until he was free.

Allegheny County Judge David Cashman told him he should have received the death penalty and called him a “despicable human being.”

He sentenced Page to life in prison plus 21 to 42 years for murder, kidnapping, making false reports to police and aggravated indecent assault.

Reggie Wayne is feeling the pain right about now. After Reggie Wayne’s wife found out that he was cheating, Reggie turns around and sues his mistress Natasha McKenzie for $93,000 after he gave her the credit card number through a text message.

Reggie Wayne and Natasha had been messing with each other for a while and she didn’t just have the credit card number, she actually had the physical card. She would get cash advances. Also, Reggie was actually present with her when she made some of the purchases. Reggie did warn Natasha that his wife found out about their little secret and shortly after that, he cut off all communication with Natasha.

The sad part about this whole situation is that Reggie Wayne has been trying to get more money from the Colts, but they are not renegotiating the terms of his contract:

A North Carolina mother and her lover—her 24-year-old nephew, are behind bars today in connection with the brutal rape and murder of the woman’s 23-year-old daughter. 42-year-old Dawn Ward was arrested Thursday after her daughter Brittini Ward was found raped and murdered last month. Police say they were called to Ward’s home in May after getting a tip from an extended family member.

When they arrived they arrested 24-year-old Derek Ward immediately, who the mother and daughter shared a home with. Upon further investigation authorities confirmed that the mother had a role in her daughter’s rape and murder and took her into custody as well. Police have not revealed specific details on the victim’s death or a possible motive.

Dawn faces charges of murder, accessory to a felony and incest.

Police said they have made two arrests four months after a mother was found stabbed to death at her home in Conyers.

Authorities announced Friday that they have charged the victim’s twin daughters, Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah Whitehead, and said that the 16-year-olds will be tried as adults. Both are being held at the Rockdale County Jail.

Jarmecca Whitehead, 34, was stabbed to death in January on Appaloosa Way in the Bridle Ridge Walk subdivision in Conyers, police said.

At the time, Whitehead’s daughters told police that they discovered their mother’s body when they got home from school. The family lived in a gated community.

Police said they were waiting on results from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab, and early Friday morning they arrested the twins, one at Tucker high school, the other at a relative’s home in Clarkston.

Conyers Police Chief Gene Wilson said he still can’t understand why this happened.

“I really don’t know. It was a brutal murder. She was stabbed and beaten to death, and as far as the motive, I just don’t know,” said Wilson.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — An off-duty sheriff’s deputy says he pursued a woman who was wielding two large knives through a West Hollywood Target store before he arrested her on suspicion of stabbing and wounding four people. Los Angeles County sheriff’s Deputy Clay Grant Jr. said he was shopping for paper towels Monday afternoon when people around him started running away.

He grabbed his duty weapon, ordered her to drop the butcher’s knife and the carving knife and followed her from aisle to aisle until she complied.

Another shopper, Katy Winn, says the woman was screaming, “There is no witness protection program!” as chaos broke out in the store.

Grant says the woman looked lost and confused, like she didn’t know where she was.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) — A woman who stabbed and wounded four people in a busy Target store Monday afternoon was arrested when an off-duty sheriff’s deputy pulled his gun and ordered the woman to the ground as screaming shoppers ran from the building, authorities said.

Layla Trawick started randomly stabbing people with two blades — a butcher’s knife and a carving knife, Los Angeles sheriff’s Sgt. Josh Mankini said. The 35-year-old Antioch woman was arrested with the help of private security guards and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.

“She was literally walking up and down the aisles slashing people,” said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

When off-duty sheriff’s Deputy Clay Grant saw her and ordered her to drop the knives, she ran away and he chased her through the store, aisle after aisle, Whitmore said.

Several shoppers who saw Grant pull out his weapon feared he was a gunman and began running and screaming, adding to the sense of panic, Mankini said.

“If he wasn’t there, who knows? Someone would be dead right now,” Mankini said. “He had no communication with outside law enforcement. He’s just some guy doing his shopping. We’re pretty proud of him.”

Three women and a man were stabbed and taken to area hospitals, Mankini said. One of the victims was stabbed in the neck and shoulder.

One of the victims was a woman holding a baby, but the baby wasn’t hurt, Whitmore said.

Katy Winn, a freelance photographer from West Hollywood, was browsing the store’s selection of Mother’s Day cards when she heard someone screaming.

She looked up and saw a woman yelling, “There is no witness protection program!”

“I don’t know what it means but she was yelling that repeatedly and at the top of her lungs,” Winn said. “I think I heard (the deputy) telling her to drop to the floor. That’s when things got really chaotic and started falling over.”

Winn dropped her basket and dashed across the store to the women’s section, where she hid behind the clothing racks.

“From the moment the screaming started it was about five minutes. But it felt longer than that,” she said. “There were lots of women and children trying to get out of the store as soon as possible.”

Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Frederick Stowers said one victim was in critical condition. Authorities did not immediately know the conditions of the others.

Mankini said Grant, a five-year veteran of the department, was authorized to have a weapon in the store.

“I’m thanking my lucky stars for that deputy. Without him who knows how many people would have been hurt,” Winn said.
