Elle from V-103?s morning show confirmed the news this morning. According to CMONGOOD, Elle read the beautiful poem that was included inside the wedding invitation on air.

Update: Although the audio I included below from V-103 morning show states the wedding is tomorrow, a make up artist reached out to me and said he is doing make up for a few clients for the wedding which will take place on the 31st!

29-year-old Atlanta-based rapperT.I. has announced his retirement plans in an interview for CNN. Even if the rapper asserts to be grateful to Jay-Zand his legacy, T.I. declares that he does not see his life so involved in the rap game when he is 40 years old.  T.I. has recently been released from jail, where he served a seventh-month-long sentence for illegal possession of firearms, although he was convicted for a year and a day. The ATL-rapper has been working on his new album, the seventh, titled King Uncaged, which is set to be released in August.

In the interview, Tip talks about his future plans. He states that he is not worried about his image being changed, but he now wants to take care only of his life and family

“If I had the option to [be] Jay-Z [or] Will Smith, I think I’d go with Will. I’m a Jay-Z fan. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Jay and his legacy. But I feel like Will, he gets to spend more time with his family.”

T.I. also says that in the future he will still produce and write songs, but he will set his own label and give young rappers the possibility to shine in the Hip-Hop world. As for him, he will dedicate more time to raising his children and his career as an actor.

During his first post-incarceration interview southern rapper T.I.told fans that his forthcoming album, which is due out on August 24, will be reminiscent of his earlier work, and after getting a preview of some of the tracks, R&B singer The-Dream agrees.

Talking to MTV News, Dreamreiterated Tip’s statements that the album would be based on “thoughts” and said that you can feel the passion behind the Grand Hustle rapper’s work.

“Tip is in a zone, man,” said Dream. “He’s in one of those things. But me just being a lyric guy, what makes songs, I think, hits is when it comes from the heart and you really are saying something you mean. And you feel it through the passion.”

Dream, who is collaborating with T.I. for the second single on his Love King album, also said that every track that Tipplayed from him was impressive.

“Every record he played me, I was like, ‘Wow.’I could just feel it. It wasn’t about judging it. It wasn’t about, ‘Is this a single or is this that?’ It was just, ‘Wow, where have you been? Where’d you go? It was just elevated and he’s elevated. Right now, he’s rapping like he is in space. Not a place we don’t know — it’s in the same area — but his vibe is just wider now.

In his first interview since out of prison, Tip says that this album will be more aggressive than his previous works.

“This album is different in many ways. I think that Paper Trailwas a lot more about thoughts,” he said. “[But] this [forthcoming album] is more about feelings. This is significantly more aggressive, or at least at this period in production. Who knows? I can do 10 love songs tomorrow and change the direction. At this point, right now, it’s going hard. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”

T.I.’s upcoming album is expected to drop on August 24 via Grand Hustle.

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle revealed in a recent interview with VIBE, she dished that she has fallen in love with her Clifford all over again, and she’s going to be Mrs. Harris sooner than we think. She says she and T.I. are planning a small, private wedding with around 200 guests before the year is out.

On folks constantly criticizing her for waiting so long to get a wedding:

“I don’t really worry about what people say about what’s taking so long. Like, it ain’t none of your business what’s taking so long,” said Tiny of the engagement. “If we happy, why are you so concerned? We living, we’re happy, we’re in love. I mean, it’s no doubt in my mind that he doesn’t love every piece of me and vice versa so we’re just doing what’s comfortable and what works for us. Tiny and T.I. Not for the world. When we get ready to make a move, we will make it. We just can’t do it for everybody.”

On rumors of a summer wedding:

“There are wedding plans coming soon, sometime this year,” said Tiny, adding that there’s no rush and that she wants it to be a small affair with about 200 guests. “Not too big ’cause I want it to be as private as possible. There’ve been a million rumors about us getting married. It’s taking away from the day that we really do get married so I just want to kind of have that moment for myself.”

On rekindling the romance once T.I. was released from prison this past December:

“It was crazy. I seen him every week,” said Tiny over the phone from Atlanta. “We just picked up where we left off and we just, you know, I’m just in love all over again.”

Advertising billboards for rapper T.I.’s clothing brand Akoo (www.akooclothingline.net) are set to be taken down in Newark, New Jersey after drawing criticism for its sexually-suggestive tones.

The ad, which features a woman kneeling in front of a man while appearing to pull down his unbuckled jeans, caused controversy among locals and city officials who found the fashion shot “offensive”.

Newark mayor Cory Booker said, “So often when I am out in the community I see kids wearing their pants too low and others using inappropriate la nguage in public. I will work with my city council to see if we can address it so we don’t see these types of advertisements displayed in our city in the near future.”

The comments prompted Akoo bosses to issue their own statement defending the poster, insisting they always aim to “inspire individualism and creativity.”

The executives added, “Our advertising campaign was not created to offend or insult anyone but to simply provoke dialogue and thought regarding male/female sexuality within urban culture.”

But the heads of the advertising company responsible for posting the billboard, CBS Outdoor, have caved under the pressure to have the ad removed and they have confirmed they are taking steps to withdraw the image.

Well TI is off to do his Fed Time, he put on for his city one last time before he goes away for 366 days for weapon charges. I really like TI he has not let me down as a artist so I think.
